u know the thing in many west coast choruses called like "CALIFORNIA LUV" AND "REPRESENT DAT G C" AND "I LOVE CALI IN THE SUMMERTIME", ... anyone knows wat it is, and how to do it, in a computer, or can any1 do it fo me if i send em the acapella

if noone awnswered it i think you mean a synthesisor
go to your local music shop,,,they have stuff to run your mic through,,,there f some awesome effectsmmm,,,guitar pedals can make that sound too when you run a mic through it,,,ask the sale rep about it,,,,they will let you try them

u can download goldwave and mechinize the sound. :)

It's called a Talk-Box; Roger Troutman made it famous.  Quik uses it a lot now too.  It requires putting a tube into your mouth when you are recording.

No talk-box is what they refer to it as in the credits so people know what they're referring to,it's actually called a "vocoder" peace-Tanjint

Yeah, It's A Vocader, Commonly called The Talk Box.  You Can Recreate It On Cool Edit Pro, I Believe.  They Hardly Ever Use It Anymore, It's Rare Pretty Much Outside Of Hiphop (Or Even In Hiphop)... I Love The Way it Sounds Though.  Cher Sings Through One On That Song "Do You Believe In Life After Love" Or Whatever It Was Called, And Faith Hill Sang Through One In "This Kiss".  I Know Yall Into That Poppy Stuff, LOL.  

The Key Though Is To Not Over Do It.
