Title: Menace II Society Beat
Post by: Dusan123 on September 01, 2008, 10:31:46 PM
You know near the beginning where the camera is zooming in on some buildings from a far?...what is that beat from???
The beginning is just like Ghetto Bird but the rest is different.
Is there a Remix or something I should know about? It's for sure not on the soundtrack.

I always figured it was a Ghetto Bird remix or somethin that they made strictly for the movie. Interesting...I have no idea where it came from.

It was remixed on Ghetto Bird by QD3 for Cube...The one for the movie was just strictly for the movie...no rapping on it...Too Short & Eazy had also hollered at QD3 for the beat...it would have been interesting to hear them on it...

Well QD3 did the music for the movie. The movie was released before Lethal Injection so I guess Cube heard the beat and asked QD3 to make it a full song.

The beat is still locked up in some stupid record company vault according to QD III.

Cot damm...that woulda been crucial. I can see Eazy on it, usin the same flow he used on that one verse that Mack 10 and Game used for a few songs...."1, 2, 3 and to the 4, Eazy mothafuckin E with the chrome to ya dome"...that woulda fit PERFECT!
