They were both on "The Knoc" by Knocturnal.
-
^^ i dont think Storch worked on "the Knoc"
-
I'm sure that both had input in that new 50 single. Probably produced by Storch, mixed/addtional production by Dre.
-
scott is amazing on the keys and has a good ear for good melodies and with him and dre working together, they usually create something great together...they bring the best outta each other possibly...if you look at the list that larrabbe posted, that shits crazy...
Scott was also a big part in timbalands 'cry me a river' beat which was insane...mad gifted dude but usually needs directions...which he usually gets from timbaland, dre or lil jon in the past!

they dont work togeather no more, storch just works from the hit factory in miami
-
Those drums are out of Scott Storch's league. We'll see when the credits drop.
-
im sure storch was involved on the dre tracks on snoop's albums (top dogg/last meal)
but he definitely produced ready 2 ryde and yall gone miss me.
the beat for 'too much' i think is storch's best beat ever..........insane.

That don't mean shit, the new 50 "Get Up" is produced by Scott Storch and, i think, produced by the Doctor

Maybe, but I have never heard drums by Scott Storch like that before. Its not impossible you know seeing as Dre and Em are overlooking the album.

By the way i meant produced by Scott Storch and mixed by Dre ;)

lol the track is produced by scott storch, 1,000,000 + 1 have used drums like dre, theres a track released every other day that sounds like a dre track, he hasnt got his own custom drum set, the reason it sounds like such a "dr dre" track is because its produced by scott storch, dre only ever had his "dr dre" sound when he was working with scott, the drums on get up are nothing apart from a dull thudd and a simple clap

i never said it was produced by dr dre, and like i said storch works out of the hit facotry in miami and thats where it was produced/recorded dre isnt goin to waste his time mixing a track

I would beat you on it but we're on internet so it's kinda hard. We'll have the full credits in The Vault on December 9th and I'll post them in this thread again to see who's right. And just to be official: I am saying that Dre either mixed the track or was credited as an "additional production".
The drums on the track are crisp/polished and hit hard if you have a good sytem, which is something Scott Storch hasn't been able to do thus far in his career.

like i said again! scott storch produced they do NOT work togeather anymore and stop talking about drums theres nothing more then a clap and a bassline with a horn . .you think dre co produced this too:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=8z8fedn03CU
no but it sure as hell sounds like he did! i dont think people know how much of a role storch played on dr dres sound

You are aware Storch could of sent the beat to dre aren't you. Its not impossible that Dre played a part in this beat. Oh and no, it doesn't sound like Dre on Lets Ride.

We are talking about drums here. The video is down but somebody said Let's Ride so it must be that song. And no, Let's Ride has those cheap sounding Storch drums.
-
yup. dre always one step ahead of storch. storch's main blueprint for building loops and super sharp mixing must of come with working with dre on 2001. his mixing is always superb and he did produce some crazy joints back in the day (lean back, clap back etc) but it seems like he's got worse and worse over time as he hasn't been working with dre, especially the drum sounds.
get up is 100% in dre's new style. also the way the loop is polished is a bit beyond storch's ability. i'd of thought they either did the beat together or storch sent the beat in and dre did the drums, added effects and mixed it. he might not be credited at all or just for mixing but you know its gotta be a dre co-production just on the quality.

why dont you dumb fucks just listen, acting like im making stuff or some shit, i know dre didnt produce it because i read quoting 50 that he was in miami recording at the hit factory with.... guess who?? scott storch, and im telling you scott storch and dr dre dont work togeather anymore , its as simple as that, why some of you feel the need to argue stupid points is unbelieveable
-
i thought i read that storch was linking up with dre for detox quite a while back quite a few times. anyone got any inside info to suggest otherwise? he deff worked with dre on a pile of stuff for bishop lamont before that, bishop has spoken on dre/storch working on his album numerous times and there's that oh my god track that surfaced and no doubts loads of other stuff.
also maybe storch cut the track at his studio and then sent it to dre who then did some work on it. he's done this before for 50 on the massacre there was 'disco inferno' and 'candy shop' that had some extra kinda uncredited dre production even though he was just 'mixing' those records. 50 commented on this in interviews too.

Why are you being so stubborn, he could of sent the beat to Dre for the final mix. How do you know they don't work together. You know them? Na, didn't think so.

storch was with dre about 6-8 months ago working on beats for detox - what comes of that i dont know however they will not be working togeather at least for some time anyway due to storchs publishing deal and candy shop was soley produced by storch there was no added dr dre production, that track was on the market months before 50 cent ever laid hands to it

lmao "the final mix" is that some how supposed to make it sound more like a dre track?
-
candy shop was mixed by dre and you definitely hear a stong dre influence to the overall quality of that production. who knows if he did any 'production' as such on that one but dre's mixing sure makes a hell of a difference to a record. i'm sure i'm not the only one who can easily hear that.

You just saved me having to answer him again, so no you are not the only 1.
-
well if there's inside info i can accept that cause this is just speculation based on things that are known. but i'd like to know if that's the case and where it came from...
-
When Dre mix a beat you can easily hear that Dre's touch otherwise you have shit in the ears, of course it won't be as good as a 100% Dre beat but you can hear that.
-
will storch be on detox?
-
no one here knows for sure but he will more than likely be on there
