Kanye West has just been arrested at LAX for felony vandalism.
A still photographer was trying to take pics of Kanye at the American Airlines terminal. According to our guy on the scene, Kanye allegedly confronted the photog and smashed his camera to the ground.
Our photog then began videotaping the scene when Kanye's assistant grabbed our camera -- a struggle ensued and the assistant threw the video camera to the ground, breaking it.
When Kanye realized our camera guy had videotaped the incident, he rushed our guy and yelled, "Gimme that f**king tape!"
Both Kanye and his assistant have been arrested and will be booked.
We have the tape and we will be posting video shortly.

Hip-Hop superstar Kanye West was arrested this morning at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California.
According to Access Hollywood, Ye was arrested earlier today (September 11) at one of the terminal’s security points for vandalism. While police are unable to speak on what sparked the incident, LAX spokesman Marshall Lowe explained what went down.
“Mr. West was arrested at 7:51 a.m. [PT] outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism,” he said in a statement. “Initial reports say this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000.”
However, Yeezy was not the only person taken by authorities from the incident.
“In addition, Mr. West’s road manager was arrested for vandalism and battery,” Lowe added. “Several witnesses are being interviewed by police. West and his manager are being transported to an LAPD station where they’re expected to be booked.”
According to TMZ, one of their cameramen noticed Ye having his pictures taken when he proceeded to take the person’s camera which was followed by a cry of “Police, help!” The rap star then took the man’s camera and threw it on to the ground completely destroying it.
Upon noticing what occurred, TMZ’s cameraman walked towards Ye with his camera recording when approached by the road manager, Don C. After failing to hand over the recorder, the manager proceeded to take it, rip off the mic and smash to the floor. When police asked the cameraman if he had taped the incident, Ye allegedly lunged and screamed “Give me the f*cking videotape” before authorities took him into custody.

I'd be ashamed to put video up of me gettin punked by an ex-Gap worker like Kanye...but on the other hand I bet i could get a grip sueing that nigga, so it might be worth it lol

These photographers shouldn't be classified as human beings. Their entire life is chasing down celebrities in their cars, and taking pictures of them. It's so insane, making money off someone you don't know, just because you happen to have a camera. Kill these people, run them over in your car, torture them, behead them in the streets, kill every single person with a camera you can find.

i'd like to do the same for a laugh if i was a celebrity. take dudes camera, TAKE THE TAPE OUT, smash the camera up, jump up and down on the tape then say sue me i couldn't care less cause i have loads of money 8)

Wasn't these TMZ guys the ones hiding behind the bushes at Dre's sons funeral?
I couldn't care less if these paparazzis get beat up or their cameras broken, fuck them.
There should be a law to beat up paparazzis for free if they are inside your 5 meter zone.
