Title: THE OFFICIAL: Your Favorite Nate Dogg Feature & Solo Cuts
Post by: pootypooty on September 15, 2008, 03:26:30 PM
Name some of your favorite Nate Dogg feature cuts. Post 'em up if you want. We gotta bump some Nate Dogg music while he's laid up in the hospital.

I was just bumping Game Don't Wait Remix earlier, then I heard about his 2nd stroke. I think "Ain't No Fun" is his best performance ever, that and Regulate. Really the list goes on, Nobody Does It Better, Lay Low, etc.

^^ THat's probably three of my favs too, those are the obvious picks.

I love his solo stuff, "Hardest Man In Town", "G-Funk", "These Days", "Another Short Story", "Backdoor", "Somebody Like Me", all great songs.

Or Xxplosive, I still get chills whenever I hear his part.

On the other hand I always thought he can't hold a track on his own.

Somones at my doooooor, baby who could it be?

^ Groupie ft Charlie wilson, DPG
-  Just Another Day ft Val young
-  Aint No Fun
-  Cool (Eastsidaz)
-  Space Boogy (Kurupt)

Nates laid down some incredible songs and hooks over the years, although around 2001 I think he kinda wore himself out
being on too many songs with diff artists, do wish him a successful recovery  :-\

I always LOVED his part on 213 "So Fly" at the end when the beats completely stops and he's still singing; oh man!

Nate really deserves a lil dedication thread.
Here's a few of my picks:
Deeez Nuuuts because it was his first appearance.
Ain't No Fun because the whole beat, and everyones verses are straight classics.
Boss' Life, I'd prefer Nate on this over Akon anytime, plus a great solo towards the end of the song.
All Bout U, because if it weren't for Nate on this, the track wouldn't be as hot.
One More Day

aaaaand shit, there's a lot of others to choose from.

Ever since I heard Nate on "Indo Smoke" and all the early Death Row releases, I've always fiended for a Nate Dogg solo. When "G-Funk Classics" finally dropped, it was like an overdose of beautiful music from this amazing artist. A double album fittingly titled. Bumpin' this classic right now. Hope Nate pulls through.
