Rap-Up.com has exclusively confirmed that Busta Rhymes has signed with Universal Motown. Busta will release his eighth studio album on the label on December 9th. Universal Motown is home to artists Lil Wayne, Nelly, Akon, and Ashanti, among others.
The rapper had previously been signed to Interscope Records and was reportedly dropped after an argument with label head Jimmy Iovine. His album Blessed was never released.

i wanna hear about the conversation with jimmy! busta better spill the beans on how aftermath/interscope! shit is fucked up cause busta towed the line by releasing that corny ass track from the big bang for a single. dre even had the cheek to appear in the video when he should always be producing the singles for his own artists. guess busta had enough...

yeah, heard that a lot of heads were mad at him for constantly leaking tracks off Aftermath/Shady/Interscope projects and that finally Dre gave the nod to Iovine to drop him, but to still release his upcoming album......guess they're not gonna drop that after all....

Motown is under Universal too, so "Blessed" is rumoured to be out in December, but 50 and kanye is out that month, so it will be either november 2008, or something like february 2009.
he also gotta make some more single material for the album, now that "we made it" and "dont touch me" isnt gonna be on it.

Good for him can't wait for the album.

Wow he did not waste no time.
