Maybe its just here in Toronto, but ever since Murs for President dropped, I've been hearing a lot of people talking bad about it.
Maybe they were expecting another murs & 9th album or something, i don't get it.
Personally, i think this is a great album, hot ass production, murs is always good on the mic....imo the 9th wonder tracks come off as the weakest on the album.
What does everyone else think of the album?

The album sounds fresh.. There's a few song's I aint realy feelin.. But that's like 2.. But The rest of the album.. Just Sounds classic..

i been seein dude everywhere online...i mean his PR is on point...he just looks so strange it makes the typical person maybe not interested in giving dude a listen..but i have only heard good things about his music honestly...still havent checked it tho

thats what i've been seeing aswell.........the album is dope as fuck in my opinion......and if heads only checked for it cuz quik mixed it, then they obviously aint gonna like it cuz it aint gangsta enough (which is ironic cuz murs is probably more gangsta than half thess fool's favorite mc's)

^ Actually, Murs is underground, not gangsta. Peep the regular version of "H-U-S-T-L-E" and hear his lyrics as he talks about hustling like a normal person.

nah, i know he is, to me he's the everyman rapper.......i been into his music since 'murs rules the world' and 'good music'(still my favorite murs album).....what i meant was, in actuallity, he is more street than most of these cats who yap about it and thats their whole image and persona, and yet he doesnt go that route, he does himself, fuck all that cliche' posturing....

Murs is tight, his rhymes are dope and production for the most part is on point.
Some people hate because they can't handle a rapper who doesn't conform to the gansta, hustla, pimp mold.
