Title: Anybody Else Watch The N.W.A. Documentary On VH1?
Post by: KC-HOODSTA on October 03, 2008, 10:41:03 PM
I was honestly surprised they did a really good job so far imo VH1 is the best music show just because they are actually showing old school stuff instead of all the new shit that people like us on here on not to fond of or atleast the more commercial side of it. But all in all they did a very good job i enjoyed it and TIVO'D it  ;D

Only i thing i didn't like was Chris Rock being the narrarator it just dont fit and i cant take him seriously.

I thought it was good, but could have been a little bit better...while I respect Cube and think he's Top 5 all-time, they should have given more respect to MC Ren for his lasting from beginning to end and his contributions...100 Miles & Runnin' & efil4zaggiN was without Cube, and Ren handled most of the writing for those projects...

I guess they were focusing more on the initial impact, and not the entire staying power that NWA had....would have liked to seen more of Ren on there....

I think the Cube interviews was pretty recent....Dre's interview was done a feew years ago (I actually think they took it from the Behind The Music on Dr. Dre from a while back)
