Haven't listened to this yet, but I read it's the same version as on the last 2Pac cd.

What I don't understand is that they wrote "Play Ya" as one word (now "Playa"). Did nobody at the record label see that mistake? Some people need to go to Junior High again.

It's crazy how many times this song was remade..
I considered including the OG in my 2pac special tonight and said nah.. I'm glad now!

and they been mispelling it like that since it first emerged.. have no idea why.. is this considered slang? lol

It says "copyright 2006" right on the CD.  I just can't believe they'd release this song over 2 years later as a single for Keyshia's new album.  This is the best track she has on her CD, a song that is 2 years old featuring 2pac vocals that are over 10 years old??  Unless this is a new remix that is different from the one on Pac's Life, but it doesn't seem that way.  This seems to me like a case of cashing in on 2Pac's name and nothing more.  The OG is better than all these stupid remixes anyway.

On the bright side, the fact that Amaru's allowing this song to be a single could mean they are gearing up promotion to get a buzz behind 2pac again for a possible album in 2009.
