That lineup is crazy. And for a while pretty much every east coast artists dropping a dope album had at least 1 premier joint or pete rock joint. Now Jigga has not worked with Premo since what Volume 3? Nas, Stillmatic? Pete Rock with Nas, hell I have no idea.

Well the guests part I really don't mind, but today was the 1st chance I had to give Term a proper listen all the way through and he had that ill east coast sound and vibe throughout. Something I really don't heard too often anymore.

Term indeed did 1 heck of a job picking out the producers..it's like he sat down, wrote NY's finest on paper and got them all on the project.

incredible production lineup. unfortunately niggas see dollar signs and following trends instead of being a trend setter and making good music. i'm an east coast representer and i'm embarrassed by some of these east coast niggas music. the shit either sounds watered down or south influenced. i missed the days when i would pick up an east coast record and read the credits featuring niggas like buckwild, dj premier, pete rock, etc.

Never really listened to much Termanology but big props for this post. Checking out the tracks on Youtube right now and this shit sounds fucking nice!!! Dope beats and excellent lyrics/flow. Definitely a CD I would cop and bump often.

The problem I have with this is that the production line-up looks great on paper but the album just doesn't deliver. When it works, the producer delivers an outstanding beat and Term rips the rhymes (see 'Watch How It Go Down', 'The Chosen'). But for most of it, the songs just aren't as good as the line-up would have you expect. The PR and Extra P beats are pretty average, two of the three Nottz beats are fucking horrible and on most of the tracks Term doesn't get a chance to be a lyrical as he has proved he can be.
Overall, not a return to the golden age IMO.

co sign. I did expect more from that lineup beat wise. But still a impressive list on paper. For him to get all those producers on 1 album is a accomplishment it itself but the beats were at times a little blah.

it's ironic that you mention that because a month or two ago said that based on the production termanology's album was gonna be better than tip's album but i guess not. LOL. this list still looks great on paper though.
