DJ R-Tistic Releases His "Universal Sounds Of California" - October 19, 2008 By : Rud
Dubcnn has once again teamed up with a DJ that our Forum Members and some regular readers will be familiar with. DJ R-Tistic is the L.A. based DJ and Producer that was one of the first to record material with Black Wall Street including tracks with Glasses Malone, The Game, Kam, Murs, Black Friday, Billboard and Ya Boy.
More recently he has graduated from Florida A&M where he was an official campus DJ and, since May of this year, he has been found across Los Angeles DJing events in Long Beach, Compton, Gardena, Manhattan Beach, Beverly Hills and Hollywood with his Technics 1200s.
He is also now affiliated with T-Pain's Nappy Boy Entertainment and working at E! Entertainment. With all this going on he still found time to link up with Dubcnn to release a brand new mixtape featuring some of the hottest new music professionally mixed. "DJ R-Tistic Presents: U.S.C. (Universal Sounds of California) Volume 1" is a free release project that features music from, and is introduced by, Murs.
The mixtape also contains tracks from Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik & AMG, Clyde Carson, The Game, Kidz In The Hall, Pacific Division, G Malone, Mistah F.A.B, Rick Ross, T-Pain, Terrace Martin, Kurupt, JAG, E-40, Dubb Union Too Short, Problem, Xzibit, Blu & Exile, Ice Cube, Omar Cruz, Mack 10 and many more.
DJ R-Tistic has teamed up with Dubcnn to release the mixtape via the Dubcnn Digital Distribution Network. This 27 track project is available now for download or to listen to track by track via our Embeddable Flash Audio Players.

Yeah, speakin of that, I wonder if they still have the songs I did for them back in 04-05. I have one track that Billboard and Game recorded on, and it went from bein Billboard's track to Game's to Ya Boy's...but I'm sure it's deep in their hard drive now, LOL. I did a few songs with Friday, I should still have them at my house because they never came out. I did some tracks for the Brazil St. cats too, like Lawless, and that's in my vault too.

Yeah I got the BF ones, not the Billboard ones.
It's wild...I met Billboard when he came to my house exactly a month before he got killed. I didn't even think they'd like the beat he got on...I thought it sounded too "West Coast" and it was two years old at the time. I played em all "Therapy sessions" first because I knew it fit their style, but they actually liked the other beat more. I realyl do hope they still have it over there at Wall St.
