Flixx Steps Up With Kurupt, J Wells & More On Sophomore LP - October 20, 2008 By : Rud

It's over three years since we first introduced Gardena native Flixx with his incredible single Tha Dubb featuring and produced by J. Wells. The success of that single led Flixx to release his debut album "Politics & Pimpin'" and has since been busy writing and recording material.
Over the past two years since his debut Flixx has featured on Dubcnn a few times [see all Flixx updates] yet we have had to wait for his anticipated sophomore release.
Today we have news on the new album including a tracklist, three brand new tracks and a release date. "Politics & Pimpin' Article 2" is set for release in February 2009 via Infirmiry Records/Swivelpoint Productions. As on his debut Flixx is going to record a video for his single "Gardena 90249" that we featured for download back in July - expect to see the video on Dubcnn in December.
"Politics & Pimpin' Article 2" is set to feature appearances from Kurupt, Stylistik Jones, Clinton Wayne, J Wells, Tash, Nick Nice, Tyme Bomb, Dolow and more as well as production from Best Paul, J Wells, C-Native, Dolow, Tyme Bomb and others.
Below we have the albums outline tracklist with features and production credits as well as three tracks for download or to listen to via our Embeddable Streaming Audio players. First up is the single Gardena 90249, followed by the Stylistik Jones & Clinton Wayne featured Everyday Activities. The last, but by no means least, as it is a certified hit - is Hell 2 Heaven featuring Kurupt and Nire over a hypnotic J Wells production.

Damn, 1st time I heard that "Gardena" (lovin' it). I've had that "Hell 2 Heaven" track w/ Kurupt for a while. This one is real laid back, too. On the downside, I'm really not feelin' "Everyday Activities" at all. Thanks for sharing these!
