Title: Dodgers offer Manny 2 years/60 million...
Post by: J.D. Wykid, Esq. on October 24, 2008, 11:40:57 PM
...not good enough, imo.

30M is a helluva lot of cash, but only 2 years?  i dont even think boras and manny will take that offer seriously...if it were 3 years at 30M per year, then i think it would be good enough to keep him in LA.

3yrs/90M, who in their right mind wouldnt take that?  :D

plus, if he is still hitting after those 3 years, he would most likely be able to land a DH spot somewhere...he could probably get 2yrs/30M, if he hits nearly as half as well as he is right now.  which he probably will be..he is showing absolutely no signs of ageing...except in his fielding.  that would be 120M, in 5 years.   not too shabby, if u ask me.  8)
