Injured already?
Bynum took him out....Blazers Fans are bitching about it ;D ;D

LMAO!!! Oden left the game early hurt, I think Bynum played around 30 mins and looked like complete dog shit, Bynum aint shit
-
Bynum 8pts and 3 reb LOL
Regardless of what happened to Oden and how good the Lakers looked, nothing positive to say about Bynum from tonights game
-
3 block shots^ as well
Bynum is a valuable asset in the middle. Shaquille O'neal HE"S NOT. However he is a true center in a league with like 2 or 3 real centers. Also he's still trying to find his role on a team, a deep team, who's already established themselves. i think when we have kobe scoring 23 , grabbing 7, dishing out 5, gasol getting 15 and 7, radmon, getting 4 steals, odom coming off the bench and giving 10 and 10, farmar coming off the bench giving 10, fisher leading the point, ariza coming off the bench giving that spark and defense, sasha coming off the bench and knocking down threes....not to mention josh powell and luke walton down there some where on the bench who coiuld contribute...........i think we'll be fine until bynum settles into his role.

obvious to the entire thinking world. Yet somehow NIK cant get it.

The Lakers dominated, but dont take this as some type of indication of what Oden is going to be. He didnt even play the 2nd half. Bynum looked like a decent young big but we still have yet to see what Oden is bout.

I don't pretend from some of you guys to understand shit about basketball, but at least don't talk shit. Bynum is very important to the Lakers cause his presence inside is something that makes opponent teams change their offense. In other words: you don't drive inside when you have Bynum under the basket ready to block your shot or to make it harder for you to score. And you don't give the ball inside often. His presence (along with the one of Gasol and Odom, obviously) forced Portland to score only 22 points in the paint (compared to 42 points scored by the Lakers) on a 34% shooting (Lakers shot 47%). That's where Bynum is important for the Lakers. I personally don't give a flying fuck about the points he scores: we have so many good shooters we don't even need him to score. He has to defend and outrebounds his opponents. And he did it pretty well yesterday night.

LMFAO@"Bynum looked like complete dogshit"...we all know who skipped watching the game and went straight to reading the box score.

I watched the entire game moron. The Lakers looked great no doubt and defensively Bynum was solid but offensively and on the boards he was a no show all game, thats a fact

Who gives a fuck! Lakers scored 96 points.

Not 7 rebounds...11 rebounds. Double-double Bryant I call him.

LMAO...he was limitted to 27 minutes, his first game coming off a bad knee injury...he STILL showed some very nice back-to-the-basket moves and he's already proven that he's a beast on the boards, what the hell are you rambling on about? Andrew Bynum>>>>>Jermaine O'Neal>>>>>Spencer Hawes>>>>Jason Thompson>>>>Roy Hibbert. Don't get mad.

Yes.

I'll say it again NIK, hit me up when Bynum is a 6 time all star and has been a MVP candidate at some point in his career, LOL I will be waiting for a while.
It's all Pacers for me NIK, you know that moron, I am easily as big of a Pacer fan as you are a Laker fan, no question.
Don't even lie NIK, If Kobe got traded for example to the Magic, you would still be all Lakers 110% but you would be interested in Kobe and the Magic and you would want them to do well when they aren't playing the Lakers, thats exactly my situation with the Pacers and JO, stop getting your panties in a bunch you emotional fruit.

it will be interesting how JO plays in Toronto...he might still be better than Bynum...Roy Hibbert isn't suppose to be anything special though, so dont attack spice on that lol. it would be like him makin fun of Chris Mihm lol.
-
^I think Hibbert can surprise people in a couple years, he played real well in the preseason but I agree that he isnt ready yet.
and JO shits all over Bynum, what the fuck has Bynum ever done so far, the guy is 20 or 21 and missed like 50 games last year lol, let me know when he averages 20 and 10 in a year, I dont know if that will EVER happen, NIK is a biased fruit, plain and simple

NIK is a Kobe fan before he is a Laker fan.

I used to love JO too but come on. Are you seriously saying JO > Bynum, right now? At this stage of their careers I don't think anyone would pass on Bynum for Jermaine.

Italy right?
what's your point ? People from Europe usually know more about the game than US people ...
-
Back on topic , I agree that Bynum did not look good in this game ... of course it's obvious that it will take some time to go back to his best shape ... you can see he's not as explosive/above the rim as he was before getting injured ... but that's normal

you addressing it makes it valid.
Americans typically know far more about soccer too.

^^the last line was sarcasm....in case that didnt get through.

well, thats cuz Bynum is young. if it was the last NBA season ever & you needed to form a team to win a title, this year im takin JO over Bynum.

you guys never cease to amaze me
Bynum and Oden basically "started" their careers last night and everyone has already figured them out

actually, you're 100% wrong, young'n...if Kobe was ever traded to the Magic, I'd want the Magic to fail just so that Kobe will regret ever leaving the legendary P&G, the historic franchise you NEVER turn your back on. I wont hit you up when Bynum is a 6 time all-star, cuz that's irrelevant to my claim to begin with. As of now, Bynum>JO. if you truly question which player is currently more valuable you need to stop fuckin with angel dust...PeACe

don't take Tone seriously... his character on this site is all about being a joke, trying desperately to amuse people with his blunt, yet rarely accurate humor.

I dunno about all that...Bynum is much more of an enforcer in the paint nowadays. Now, if you're talking about JO in his prime vs Bynum now, you have a case. But JO is not the same player he was when he was averaging 24-9-2.
