Title: Arsenal 4 - 4 Spurs
Post by: Sweet & Tender Hooligan on October 29, 2008, 03:09:56 PM
What a game!! I am utterly raging though, first off i missed Bentleys effort making a cup of tea, then thinking it was game over at 4 - 2 i go and take the dog a walk, come back in just as Lennon is slotting in. Couldn't believe it. Games like that are the proof the football is the greatest game in the world (Unless you're K.Dub).

I can't believe how personal mistakes and bad defense let those scum steal 2 points!

FUCK!

Cheer up mate, just take pride in the fact you took part in possibly the best game of the season. And it tells you how far Arsenal are ahead of Spurs when they are celebrating a draw like they won the champions league.

Arsenal 2-4 down to Spurs, and claiming 4-4, you would see the exact same scenes..
Matter of fact, you saw the same scenes when Van Persie scored 4-2, with him & Adebayor dancing by the corner post like they won the World Cup.
It's what makes Football the greatest sport in the world though, even haters gotta love it.  ;D

Another NLD Classic.. what a fuckin game, it never disappoints.  8)

Yeah i thought about editing my post as soon as i had posted it, to be 2 goals down in the 88th minute and manage to get a draw is unbelievable.

I agree, pathetic, it was as if they had won. You DREW, nothing to celebrate there sorry. If you had won then great but you didnt, you drew, get some balls and realise that you are still a shit team.

^^ LOL, pathetic allegations.. Van Persie & Adebayor (http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/1715376/) thought they had won the world cup when they scored 4-2..

Also, a big LOL @ Van Persie's dancing dive before the 2-1 goal.  :grumpy:

That's because they scored a goal which should've secured the winner.

Oh well, Arsenal are still unbeaten against scum for 18 Premiership games.
9 managers since Wenger took over? Talk about pathetic..

I really couldn't care about the Carling Cup. If we win it, good - if we lose, whatever.

That "Donald Duck cup" attitude always amuses me.. and not just because Spurs won it last year.

Your captain Gallas surely seemed like he cared after and during the game, he was FURIOUS.. and didn't Bendtner & Adebayor bump heads during the game ?
In the final, Chelsea played as their life depended on it, and their captain Terry plus some others burst into tears when they lost. (Sure, it's Terry, but still)

If you had won the cup, you'd be celebrating it as good as any other cup victory, but when you lose it; "whatever, I don't really care".

Not offence mate but the league and or europe is important. The cups are bonuses, if you make it to the semi/final sure you're gonna try and win it. Why not?

But believe me, big teams are almost glad to get put out and have one less distraction on the road to a trophy people actually care about.

Small teams will always love cup competitions because it is their best chance at silverwear, partially because the big teams don't bring their A-game.

But we all know Gallas, Ade and Bendtner is not really good mentally. They fail to achieve when they have to.

Like I said - If we we win the CC, I wouldn't really celebrate it. I'd be happy the club got a trophy. If we lose it, I wouldn't care. Wenger never plays his A-team in the Carling Cup.
