Title: If Dre gave fans the option
Post by: acgrundy on October 29, 2008, 09:56:43 PM: So if Dre gave the fans the options of putting out 1 last album, either Detox, or an album of his unreleased material from Death Row.

Detox would be like it has been talked about, you know the guests you have heard about, or whoever you think he may be putting on there, along with his new style beats, and any other producers he may use.

Old DR material would be songs like Next Episode, Hoe Hopper, Rat a tat tat, Cali Love w/ Ice Cube, Blunt Time OG, etc. and possibilities of stuff we have never even heard of.

I'd choose the old shit which is guaranteed classic. Fuck all these new guests, and this new sound in rap.

I'd rather hear Detox than a bunch of leftovers from 1992-95. I wouldn't mind hearing Dre's DR stuff but it's pretty bad that anyone would want that over a new fucking album.

If you wanna hear Crooked, wait for him to drop his album. No matter who Dre puts on Detox, he's gonna be a bitch in somebody's eyes for working with this person and not that person. I'll save y'all the time. Detox ain't gonna be The Chronic reunion album with bonus appearances from every West Coast rapper Dre has never worked with. I can't wait for this thing to drop just so people will stop whining about the features already.
