yep thats the problem for me with canadian rap. Its got nothing different to American hip hop and usually suffers from weaker beats due to lower budgets. At least in the UK we've got distinctive beats and rhyme about british topics, for canadians theres always gonna be that feeling of being 2nd to the USA.

Personally,i don't think that we need to sound canadian to make good hip hop that real hip hop heads are gonna wanna cop on a world wide level,and as for artists up north jocking everybodys sound,i can't speak on that.
