We looked amazing in the first half but we completely fell apart in the 2nd half, Amare was out of this world tonight, he might lead the league in scoring this year, dude has elevated his game to the point where he is one of the best 2 or 3 players in the league. Its all good though Pacers will be legit this year, Im sure of it 8)

Honestly right now I am real confident about the Pacers, We had the Suns tonight even when Amare played like superman but we blew it down the stretch but it's all good we are gonna be a good team but yeah Amare was the shit tonight. I think Bosh and Amare are the best 2 big men in the league

Tony Parker has been on fire with the French national team this summer... and is making great individual stats since the beginning of the season.
Definitely a top 3 PG now

Word, that Parker game was amazing too, especially forcing double OT and stuff. When Parker's outside shot is falling, he is unstoppable. Two incredible individual efforts last night, and I'd probably go with Parker's as well
Why the "Lol" about Stoudemire being the best big man? I don't even agree, but its not like its preposterous or something to say it. He is definitely up there with Duncan, Garnett, etc, and his potential is unlimited if he can develop better defense (which has improved).

hes not bad, i cant lie. i mean he can score if he wanted to, can rebound like a beast & can block shots like a monster...but Amare is hands down better.
Bynum has potential to be a great big man, he just isn't really showing it...

I love watching Amare but I have to agree that he hasn't really established himself as a good defender. In terms of offense dude is a complete beast and can fill up the stat sheet but i'd say Bynum plays much better defense. Would I say Bynum is better than Amare right now? Probably not, but I think Bynums overall package will prove to be better than Amares this coming season and the seasons that follow. Just my two cents.

I was never been a fan of Amare as a center, and i was never been a fan of Mike D'Antoni's system as well. I remember we've had those type of discussions for months, remember Nash and the MVP trophy? It's the same thing. I don't think Nash's really "that" great cause he's just one-dimensional. It worked extremely well in D'Antoni's system, but i still don't like players who don't defend well. And it was basically the same with Amare. One-dimensional. Great offensive player, but a mediocre defender. Like i said in the topic you quoted from Xmas 2007, Skinner played better than him that match cause he was the only one in the Phoenix team to defend pretty well. Amare - i still remember that game - was just embarassing. There are people/coaches who doesn't care about this aspect (like Mike). I do. I don't like C's (but let's say players in general) who can't defend and who needs Skinner to play the 4th quarter. That's why i prefeer Bynum over Amare, as a center. And that's why i think Bynum has all the tools to be a future All-Star and a dominant Center.
That said, i gotta say Amare is starting to improve, lately. Since Phoenix acquired Shaq, he's playing as a PF, and that's imho the best role for him. If he plays together with a good defensive/power center, he can do pretty well. Plus Porter cares about team defence more than D'Antoni, so even Amare has to defend, and he's improving on that aspect too (i'm not saying he's a decent defensive PF/C yet, but he is improving..). We will see.

Bynum is a better player, as he plays both ends of the court. Amare is a power player who can score points in bulk, but that doesn't make him a better player...not by a long shot. Bynum has a better back-to-the-basket game, better post moves, better rebounding ability, footwork, defensive ability...he's just a better player. The Suns are a mediocre team and Amare is their cornerstone player, so of course they're gunna make him the go-to-guy on every possession...Bynum is a recovering player who is not demanding touches on this offensively superior team...get the point, homie?
