Title: Global Music Group looking for talent
Post by: GMG AandR on November 06, 2008, 08:53:40 AM
hi everyone i am the new a&r for global music group (also known as gmg) and my ceo roland has instructed me to contact all message boards on the interweb to offer you talented people out there a record deal at the hottest new label on the planet we have secured all death row assets and will be remixing the chronic with our artists (g thang country and western version is HOT better than the original!!!!!!!!) and if you want to be a part of this momentous event and label please contact me we can provide startup compensation if you are poor but we only want serious people we have had enough with people who are two faced and pretend to be part of our organization like the fraudulent gmg label on the east coast and the internet people who claim to be part of our staff but we have never heard of them so if you want to be down just reply or contact me and we can make history happen good luck everyone

You are the one doing it posting as a fake dude. I've already pm'ed the moderator about you. You can keep trying your stupid black ball stuff all you fucking want. It doesn't change at the end of the day whether a fake 2Pac gets signed or not.

remixes of classic legendary songs? i think GMG might find that dre owns his publishing and rights to "creative direction" over his songs..  dre won against death row when they tried to sell Chronic tracks individually online

other death row material is probably fair game though

excuse me "kilo2" but this is about reputation and not an artist you see that what you have been doing has been slandering our company and it is a big deal so i advise you to cease this activity immediately we own the rights to the death row catalog and we will release the content as we see fit so you and the rest of the fans please support us because we are breaking ground on some amazing things but please stop professing that you are on our staff as you are not (do you sing) any interested parties should contact us via our website and not from any forum people (except me if you want) because they are probably fake and want to be on the gmg train

It's not that, it's this guy who wants to stir shit because he couldn't get Tha Realest b.k.a. Jevon Jones signed to a label due to he wanted a 100 K advance for some old ass Fat Joe verse from 2002 which Joe didn't even record for the god damn song. This guy has nothing to do with Global and goes by the name Oh_Dear on the Global forums. He's just another motherfucking nut jockey.

Hey GMG guy, this dude is right, you guys better be careful because Dre has some of the best laywers in the game....
Even though you own the Death Row catalog (something I WILL be researching), Dre has ALWAYS maintained creative rights over all of his material, that's part of the reason that Dre. is So Ritch now....... Fair Ye Well, These be merky waters ye travel in.....

it is a process that takes a significant amount of time and negotiation we will publish several items soon but for the time being we must determine what materials will sell well and what materials have appeared elsewhere previously and therefore are not quite as interesting to the public there is a significant quantity of dog pound related media so that may be our first release

I can't speak for the schedulers over at Global, but there has been a string of lawsuits due to us acquiring Death Row's master recordings. Various "ghost writers" have demanded payment and such which is causing us to spend money on legal fees. The Death Row catalog is 100% owned by GlobalMusicGroup of New York/Canada/Alabama. Roland Turner and Anthony Marotta are the heads of the company.

We had planned a 2Pac release in 2009, but that may not come so soon due to various troubles with Evergreen, Eagle Vision, and everyone else who think they have a right to the piece of the pie. When we have the chance to release Death Row material, I gurantee you - the fans will be pleased. Also, I have information from the designer of the Global Music Group site that this you are not an employee of GMG - GMG A & R, but an imposter bootlegger known as Gurjeelitt who resides in California and owns the site 2PacForum.com.

Please note that legal action is being taken against those that slander Global's good name - 2PacForum, DeathRowRecordings, etc.

Thanks for your time.

Also, please feel free to visit our site - GlobalMusicGroup.net and check out our message boards! You can direct all your questions to C.E.O. - Roland Turner. Roland very actively visits the site, because he cares about you - the fans and supporters of the biggest up and coming label. You are not the one I was referring to "kurupt4life". I was referring to GMG A & R who posted above you while answering your question. Sorry for the confusion, friend.

My name is Josh. You seem to have me confused with the head of our street team. Please do your research before you try to insult me. For all those interested, we have just signed famous rapper DMX who was signed to Bo Dog as well as famous singer Lil Mo. Also, GMG A & R - I understand you post as the name Oh_Dear? No sir. This is the way people try to discredit Global Music Group. We have put out Janet Martin's album via CDBaby.com and such. We originally started out as an indie country label, but we received major funding due to our Death Row purchase. We have a deal with InGrooves/Universal which are the same folks which Crooked I and Dolly Parton deal with! We are releasing Mark Morrison's new single and album soon. Three of our artists have already done videos for their albums! We are in talks with various other artists as well.

I can't speak for Cliff Wise, but we apparently have a EP contract with him. He should be on tour with an album release next year.
