Trae left Rap-A-Lot, so J. Prince had whatever leftover music there was and threw it together to make an "album"... they did the same with that Devin album, except that one had like 2 dope songs on it lol

Devin just wanted to do his own thing and left on good terms, Trae I believe also left on good terms but I'm not entirely sure on why he left

Devins did have some good songs. Sadly, the only good song imo on The Beginning was the White Bricks remix and even that was subpar (cutting the hook out? the fuck?)

Trae left coz his distribution deal was up with RAL. and Trae is still co-signing the release of the Beginning. and Trae and J are still good, just listen to Streetīs Advocate.
