You know, as many classics as E-Double has produced, he's totally overrated as an MC. The majority of his similes are weak and cliched. And if that excerpt you printed is the kind of ryhme he spouted in that freestyle, I can do wothout listening to it thanks. Hearing Erick Sermon resort to gun talk is always embarrassing - a bit like watching your dad dance when he's drunk and trying to impress the younger generation.

On the other hand, you're right es-jay - as much as I personally dislike Sermon, it's more of a shame that half the people on the board probably don't even know who he is.

I agree also about Eric Sermon as an MC --> he's just like Quik, overrated on the mic, underrated on the boards. I love that new EPMD single though.
