An aspiring Atlanta rapper who wrote a song about shooting a man was sentenced to 20 years behind bars today (November 19).
According to The Associated Press, 25-year-old Rico Todriquez Wright shot Chad Blue in the thigh and the groin in September 2006 and recorded a song about the incident.
Wright reportedly rapped on a song saying "Ask Chad Blue, he knows how I shoot."
Blue, 28, testified that he had known Wright before the shooting but they weren't friendly. He also revealed that Wright was egged on by his friends during the shooting.
Wright was sentenced to 20 years for two counts of aggravated assault. He will spend another 20 years on probation.
Loooooool.

Yeah I read about this. Why did he mention him by name... Oh well..

Wowww, what a burn LOLLLLLLL!!!
-
so it's like he's admitting to an attempted murder right?
sounds odd but that burden to society deserves the jail time

Thats just dumb as fuck though, the judge needs a long look at himself. I could easily put a song out saying I shot somebody, doesn't mean I did it. Evidence is key, not guesses!

Well, I'm guessing it's not the only evidence, but the initial clue/confession needed to set off further investigation.
