Title: What to do if a website has giving your personal info to a site member?
Post by: FLACO220 on November 22, 2008, 10:12:29 PM
I had this one dude actually send me an email asking if me name was "so and so" and the dude spelled my first name correct and everything. This dude is from New York and never met this dude. There's a female in question and I've been going by "Kevin". I discovered this dude's real name and then he wrote back saying "Sorry for not being honest and then he wrote. You're name is "so and so?" Spelled the name correct etc. He also mentioned that he was friends with the moderators of the site.

What should i do yall? Can I sue these dudes?

Why is everyone sue happy? Go to work and make money you are not going to get some huge settlement cause they gave out your 1st name. Im sure if you had the time you could MAYBE get the mod fired, but then again, most mods are volunteers. But if your really trying to get 'interweb justice' then figure out who runs the site and contact him/her
