Title: Matt Cassell
Post by: OchoCinco on November 23, 2008, 03:31:49 PM
Dude went off on the phins. 30/43, 415yrs and 3tds. The dolphins got bullied by Moss too, lmao at single coverage, 3tds and 125yrds.

^yeah, he played a "Brady-like" game vs. the Jets.

shame he'll be on the bench next year, unless he gets some new scenery.

yea...I didn't expect us to win this game though. we never sweep NE. Cassel has been great lately. he's really starting to look like Brady back there. of course it helps when you have Moss and Welker.

just looked it up, this is his last year...

so he should fit nicely for some team who will pay him the big bucks next year.

^I think they'll re-sign Cassel. there's no way they'll take a chance with Brady without a serviceable backup.
I guess we'll see what offers they get for Cassel.

im sure they going to offer him a deal, but he knows well that when Brady comes back thats another season on the bench. then he almost has to root for injury lol.

i think Cassel will take a starting job elsewhere.

Pats will try HARD to keep dude cause as someone said, they're gonna need to keep a good backup..but i don't think cassell will sign back..more like a proven vet who doesnt mind a backup role..i can see Kerry Collins ending up there.

Brady never throws 400 and he can't run like that.

But I agree with the second part of your statement unless they win the Superbowl. If they win the Superbowl with out Tom Brady then it'll be interesting who gets new scenery next year. I'm getting a fucking boner just thinking about World Champion Pats going on a streak next year with Cassel as Tom Brady is stinking it up in Detroit.
