Well, maybe not now, but the kid is raw...he's gunna be the best of the three future point guards of this league. Just watchin the Bulls-Jazz game and he's doin' some amazing things out there. Derrick Rose=Clear cut rookie of the year. 8)

Now if we could only get some low post scoring we will be on to something. but yeah NIK I followed him in college and was impressed and still am now he is a Bull. He creates so much havoc in the lane and once he gets a consistent jumper, I think he can easily be a 20pt 10ast guy in the league for a long time.

I don't see all this "pure PG" shit. Dude seems like Wade jr. to me (which is a good thing). Within a year or two they'll have him at SG.

^Huh? Rose is an amazing drive and dish guy...Wade mainly drives to score, but Rose can score AND dish just as well. Rose has way more PG skills than Wade can dream of. Rose is more like Iverson with a less reliable jump-shot, but stronger pointguardesque court vision. WESTBROOK is the one who will end up being a combo guard...PeACe

I don't really think there's a gap between CP3 and D-Will. Rose is having a better rookie season than either of them had.

The season is still VERY young...I like Rose but I don't think he'll be as good as either CP or DW. He will be close though.

we're only about 15 games into the season across the board though. He's gonna have ups and downs. He looked like shit against Portland. And looked great the next game.

lol, yeah Rose is a lot better than Rondo, but no statistic or anything will ever convince me he will be better than CP3! CP3 is still young & still improving, as is Deron.
Rose is mad good though, he's a fantasy player. ;)

but one thing about rondo is his a perfect fit and the perfect piece for boston. Everything boston needs speed, energy, on ball defence, rebounding rondo provides. Rose does look hella athletic tho, i mean i watched him the other night and his ability to get into the paint (prime skill for a point guard) is impeccable. Once he develops a better finishing game around the basket like tony parker and a more consistent 3pt shot the guys going to be deadly. Once he improves his shooting then the assists, the awarness and the swagg will only increase.
