i dunno what commercial shit they play on the radio... coz i don't listen to the shit ! ... no real hip hop over here in perth.. only like a 30 minute segment on Triple J i spose.. but like i said.. i don't listen to the radio.. i got cds to pump !
i get a vibe though (judging by all the prominent displays at the music shops like Sanity and shit) that the East Coast shit is more popular...
although i can't seem to find anyone who donsn't own Doggystyle and the Chronic !
i generally don't listen to anything but westcoast rap.. nothing on the east coast really appeals to me..
although method and redman have started to appear on my playlist more and more..
listening to Royce - Rock City at the moment..
but yeah.. i'm not really in a big hip hop crowd... i'm into it the most out of all my freinds/family.. whereas most of them are into rock / metal shit...
so.. that's why i come here to get my fix !

My best friend moved to Australia 2 and a half years ago. She was only going for a year, but she liked it so well she's staying forever... I think i'm still in love with her sometimes, lol. Oh well. I haven't heard from her in almost a year, but she lives in Perth, too. Peace~

Yea i heard that Brisbane and WA are bad places in terms of gettin live acts.
In melbourne we got Tha Liks, Pharcyde, and Yukmouth from the luniz.
Tha Liks were awesome, i think they went to sydney also.
Anyone seen their new DVD/Movie?

I know this is a 7 year old topic but fuck it.
Yeah im from adelaide,SA i favour west coast (mostly bay area) shit but still listen to and enjoy shit from everywhere else (Tech9ne & Krizz Kalliko are favorites also) we are slowly getting more shit not as much as melbourne and sydney but getting there.
Im mad i missed out both times but when Yuk, Tech, Kurupt etc. came out 4 or so years ago my boys met em and they chilled out the front of the club for a while, funny shit i seen some footage they got yuk was trying to freestyle but was fuckin it up and smoked weed out of some dudes pipe,some bitches were being smart asses when he was signing their shit, they also met tech , krizz kaliko etc. when they come out a month ago
