Barkley speaks out
Charles Barkley discussed the pending free agency of LeBron James on the Dan Patrick Show on Wednesday.
"If I was LeBron James, I would shut the hell up," Barkley said in the interview. "I'm a big LeBron fan. He's a stud. You gotta give him his props. I'm getting so annoyed he's talking about what he's going to do in two years. I think it's disrespectful to the game. I think it's disrespectful to the Cavaliers."

Lebron claps back
LeBron James reacted strongly to Charles Barkley's comments that the Cavaliers star isn't showing respect for Cleveland fans and his teammates by discussing his possible free agency following the 2010 season.
"He's stupid. That's all I've got to say about that," James said Friday night before the Cavaliers' game against Golden State.
Barkley made the comments on TNT's NBA studio show and Dan Patrick's radio show.
"If I was LeBron James, I would shut the hell up," the Hall of Famer said on Patrick's show. "I'm a big LeBron fan. He's a stud. You gotta give him his props. I'm getting so annoyed he's talking about what he's going to do in two years. I think it's disrespectful to the game. I think it's disrespectful to the Cavaliers."
James, under contract for two more seasons, was bombarded with questions about his future when the Cavaliers visited New York to play the Knicks on Tuesday night.
The Cavaliers can offer him an extension as early as July 1, 2009. There has long been speculation James will eventually end up in one of the NBA's larger markets and the Knicks have cleared salary-cap space in anticipation of the 2010 free-agent class.
"I think July 1, 2010, is a very big day," James said when the Cavaliers were in New York. "It's probably going to be one of the biggest days in free-agent history in the NBA. So a lot of teams are gearing up to try to prepare themselves to be able to put themselves in position to get one of the big free-agent market guys."

Lebron will probably end up on TNT soon.

LOL!
as much as i love Chuck; that was uncalled for...unless he was joking; you can hear when hes playin & when hes bein straight in his voice.
although uncalled for, imo, he has a good point. LeBron is basically putting on a show for other teams fans & gettin them all hyped up that theres a chance he will grace there team with him signing to them.
the Cavs have to be like, "wtf are you doin LeBron? your leaving?"
funny little beef goin on there though.

He could go to the Clippers...

He could go to the Clippers...
And ruin his career. :P I'd might die of joy if LeBron came to the Lakers (it'd really boost his career too). But the guaranteed money is the safest money, so we'll see him in a Knicks or Clippers uniform. Imagine a cross town rivalry with Kobe on one end and LeBron on the other. :o

plus all big boys do biz in NY, not in Cleveland, he can meet clients for everything in NY
-
he's gunna go to Brooklyn and play for Jay-Z... they have a nice young team out there. Imagine the starting 5.

the nets gotta move first
i still think LEbron wants to play for the Knicks, not the 2nd class team

Since 2000 the Bricks have been the 2nd class team in the NY/NJ area.
He could go to the Clippers...
If he did, the Clippers would matter. Shoot, if Kobe had went to the Clippers, they woulda won a title already. When Brand was there.
And Charles is right, Cleveland don't need their emotions toyed with....AGAIN! They had Money Ramirez sell them out for $41 extra million. And the other stuff that happened to them. They've been through enough. Northeast Ohio is owed a championship & it ain't gonna happen with the Clowns or Indians. Lebron is their only hope.

It's pretty much confirmed that the Nets are moving to Brooklyn.
-
LeBron should not give a shit what city he is playing in. He should just come to the Mavs and win 5 titles in a row.

The Nets originally planned to move across the Hudson River for the beginning of the 2009–10 season. However, on January 3, 2008 the team announced that it would not start to play at the Barclays Center until 2010 at the earliest. It is unknown whether the team will move during the middle of the 2009–10 season or wait for the beginning of the next season (2010–11). In September 2006, the team and the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority announced an extension of their lease to keep the team in the Meadowlands until 2013, with a provision to leave as early as 2009 if the Brooklyn arena is completed.

^Boston is 1-and-done...I've been saying it since forever. even before they won the title, i said that 2008 was their only chance to win it all. FINISHED.

LeBron said he wants to be the richest man ever, so i would assume he's takin the money.
