Upset of the Month. This should be a new category for the Febuary Awards.
Ruthless Souljah spit some intelligent shit this time out. Showed more class than usual. I was really feeling her verse.
I-Bo underestimated Ruthless Souljah. This is one of the weaker verses I've seen from him in a long time.

I disagree. Both came hard on this, and both were tight. Ruthless had some nice multis and it flowed nice, but I think he lacked some vocab. IBO was pretty much the same picture, but I think it sounded better when I was readin it.
Props to both of ya, but my vote goes to IBO.

I have to agree with both of you uip here, I think Rythless with Better shit than usual, some nice rhymes, good flow too. And I-BO kinda undersetimated her or just didn't spit the hardest shit he usually does, "BUT" I-BO didn't come whack, I think he stil came hard and even thiugh this is close I think he took it. But close...nice shit Ruthless.

A very deep piece with lots of imagery and emotion. Like ruth said she would she really came with fully-loaded guns on this one. The only thing this lacked was a good use of multis but ruth made up for that to some extent with excellent vocab. Overall this was an excellent battle piece that got away with being less "hard" by being more "clever".
OVERALL RATING: 3.4/5 (2.5 is average)

I agree completely with infinite... I-Bo either totally underestimate ruthlesssoljah or he was being kind. THis piece lacked most of his usual flair and easily falls into the ranks of above-average. Not bad, just disappointing for a "fan" of his work like me.

[EDIT]BTW... that was a totally unbiased crew vote because (as most of you probably know) a lot of our crew is mad at ruth right now. I'd also appreciate a few votes in my battle with Sikotic. Thanks, ya'll.

oh shit i wuz shocked by this battle....ruthless ya improved alot in this battle, ibo it seems as if ya didnt spit ya usual shit...it wuz a good verse but kinda weak since everyone knows ya can bring more heat than that....why ya couldnt ya spit like that when we battled ;D ..so my....vote = Ruthless

shit ya both waz spitten some quallity...
r-soljah came wit some poetic shit...lol...fa real...it"z mo like poetry rather than a battle-rap....wit dis structure and diffrend lyricz i think this shit would be considered a nice poetry piece....and as most poetry it would use mo focus but other than that, shit waz dope.
now...i-bo kept it on tha og battle rhymin" style....he had sharp punchez.....a pretty defiened flow.......a coupla clumzy moves tho...but other than that dope ish.
Overall:
MY VOTE GOEZ TO I-BO....but tha girl got potensial

I'ma vote for I-Bo.. his verse flowed consistently better throughout, and had the better verse. However, ruthless came out better than ever. Keep it up... you're improving. But I can't give you a sympathy vote :-/... sorry.
