I just remembered the other day while I was falling asleep like 9 years ago on the radio a version of My Name Is where Em rhymed "raping lesbians" with "let's just be friends". For years I thought I misheard it because when I got the album it wasn't on there, but then I found out it was one of the changed lyrics.
Anyone know where that version was released?

Really? The CD version? I have like 2 or 3 copies somewhere around the house and none have those lyrics.

lp version: killing pedestrians/raping lesbians while they're screaming 'Let's just be friends'
album version: running over pedestrians/ in a spaceship while they're screaming "Let's just be friends

Ah, the actual vinyl.
Anyone have that in mp3 format?
edit- Never mind. I had it all along on that Hits and unreleased from '02. I must've had i for 6 years and never listened to it.

Yep. I still remember the first time I saw the video. I think it was like Febuary 1999, saw it late night, it hadn't been added to TRL just yet. Back in the summer of 98 I had read a short article about him in rap pages, and when I saw the video and Dre's cameo, and the Aftermath label at the end of the video, it was like "Dr. Dre is back!!!!!" Because Dre hadn't done much in years. I was also hyped about Dre's new protege' being white and coming out with a style I'd never seen before.
Around that time I stumbled upon the "Just Don't Give A Fuck" single at the record store, when I played it the style was so fresh, I knew Eminem had skills, but the record didn't sound like anything that could be marketed to the mainstream. So I was curious to find out if he would flop commercially.

I didn't Start Liking Em's Music Until I Heard The Track "Kill You"......Still Not A Big Fan, Just A Few Songs Here Or There. But I Don't Doubt His Ability To Rap Someones Face Off In Battle!

This one? It contains the line you remember
Its off the CD Single and isn't the same as the Album version, which is slightly less explicit
