Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Corey Brewer will miss the remainder of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, coach Randy Wittman said today.

Brewer, in his second year out of Florida, suffered the injury Saturday night during the second half of the Wolves' 106-97 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

Wittman said Ryan Gomes would continue to start at small forward with the possibility of Mike Miller seeing more time at the position.

Minnesota is in Charlotte tonight to take on the Bobcats.

Poor guy. First he gets drafted by the Timberwolves now he tears his ACL.

damn, this hurts the T-Wolves chances of makin the playoffs this year... :P

i had them finishing 3rd, but not without my boy Corey. ;D

holy fuck at first i thought you were talking about ronnie brewer....he's on my fantasy team, can't have him missing any games.
