Back in the January of 2007 we got word of a talented new artist from the Bay Area. Rarely do you get the chance to see an artist come out out of the blue with a well polished debut album that instantly starts gathering a momentum and fan base; back in 2007 that is exactly what Shame did.
Bay Area artist Shame's debut album California was released online for free download and quickly caught our attention. 19 tracks of real talk, all but one produced by Shame himself, enabled Shame to showcase his ability and pleased those that wanted a break from the then buzzing Hyphy scene.
Although the influence of the Bay Area's then current sound is unmistakably noticable in Shame's music, his deep lyrics and sharp delivery created a fresh, unique sound.

Today we are back because Shame is back on the scene, after an 18 month hiatus ,with his sophomore album "Random Acts." The new LP features 13 brand new tracks with appearences from XL Middleton once again as well as Daddy Rich.

Was wondering what happened to the thread from yesterday :P
Anyway, I had a chance to listen yesterday and as a whole I like the project better than California. It's more mature, wisdom oriented and I like the production better as well. Shorter but sweeter IMO.
Favorite tracks so far: "Next Big Thing" "Reflections" "Spaceship" "Wishing On A Dream" and "Focused."

Man I can't stress enough people don't sleep on this. People always talking about the west coast is dead, well this album shows that aint the case and a handful of other albums. Dope rhymes, real issues and topics that are going on around the world and nice beats done by Shame himself.

yeah definitely hopefully we can do a few videos for this album to give you guys some more vizuals the video for the last album got a tremendous amount of great feedback this go around we are looking to give the listeners some more quality videos to bring more of Shames music to life pz
