I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE NEVER CLEARED HIS SAMPLE FOR PAC'S LIFE TRACK AND HIS HE STILL RECORDING MATERIAL AND WHY HE NEVER WORKED WITH ANY WEST COAST ARTISTS 8)

Prince is fonky as hell. But he's real protective of his material, he rarely lets it to be used anywhere, sampling or otherwise.

That is probably not true. A little birdie told me that the "Pop Life" sample used in "Our Life" from TQ & Warren G was initially cleared by Prince...

prince is a genius....

Good musician..
-
he's a musical genius that's what i think...

I have his entire discography. Really good stuff on there that a lot of g funk fans would like but wouldn't normally be exposed to. Check for "18 & Over", and "Face Down" off of "Crystal Ball".

purple music is best, prince is a genius, so is morris.
-
He hates musicians who can't play instruments so thats probably why he never worked with any westcoast artists

haha, i can't say i blame him for that attitude... this guy does nearly everything on his albums and has always had a lot success!

some funky albums...
"purple rain" was a little bit of a mainstream album to me, i don't like when his music sounded too "plastic"---
