Do you like this album? How would you rate it? I'm about to bump it from start to end right now, finally got my copy of this album.
-
Its my second favorite warren h album behind his first.these beats still sound fresh today and it had great features from rbx and kurupt and nate
-
Love this album... Maybe my Fav' from Warren G 8)
-
Agreed, second best album behind Regulate. Pure G-Funk right there. THe only drawback are the two Ruff Ryder songs on there that don't even have Warren G on them, they were a waste. Wish it had a little more Twinz on it.
Plus, it's got Soopafly production, so that makes the album great on that fact alone.
-
I didn't mind the ruff ryders songs but they were the weakest songs on the album.phats bossi had some tight verses on there as wells

Great tracks on this album, but still nowhere near Warren's best.
-
Nate Dogg killed the album with his hooks. Having Things is very slept on, great track. 8)
-
not a bad album, but it's Warren's worst imo.
then again, i might take that back next year when the G-files drops.
-
The remix of "The Game Don't Wait" should have been on the album, one of my favourite Warren G tracks ever.

Agreed, He made a dope video for it too, Why didnt this end up on the album?? Did the remix ever appear on a album?
BTW- Somone wanna hook this song up??
-
Classic record! Greatest slept on records of all time! Imma Chitown nigga, so I was glad G-dub showed love to Crucial Conflict. Chi-town/LBC connect gang!
-
definitely one of his best albums. ;D
-
Yeah this shit is absolute fire

It wasn't made until after the album dropped. He ended up putting it on the maxi single.
-
great record. the RR tracks weren't bad, infact i thought they were pretty good. haven't listened to it in a while so i might have to dig it out.
stand out tracks for me would be: Gangsta Love, My Momma, G-Spot, Game Don't Wait, Why Oh Why
-
Dope Album but has some fillers
-
Gangsta Love and Havin Thangs are two of my all time favs.
-
DOPE ALBUM,

DPGC23

It's a trully great album, almost a classic.
His second best, after Regulate G Funk era.

dope record.
to my opinion, this album is his third best album
1st would most definately have to be regulate "g-funk era"
2nd would would definately have to be "take a look over your shoulder"
Wish it had a little more Twinz on it.
a little more? it aint had any twinz on it. i wish they were on there. its disapointing coz he put the 5 footaz on his album, but didnt put tha loccs on there.
"i want it all" , "return of the regulator" & "in the nightnite hour" shouldve all had the twinz on it. warren's a fool for not puttin them on those records.
no warren record should go without the twinz on it.
THe only drawback are the two Ruff Ryder songs on there that don't even have Warren G on them, they were a waste.
i dont mind those ruffyders tracks, but why the hell did warren put them on his album if he doesnt feature on the tracks, nor produce them?
it mind boggles me. this isnt a frikkin compilation record. its a warren solo record. step ya game up warren, lol
-
I've gone back and listened to this album many times and its not getting any better, his worst album for me.
-
Gangsta Love and Havin Thangs are two of my all time favs.
^Also the title track and "Why Oh Why". Smooth shit. 8)
-
Dollars Make Sense was a insane track off that album.
-
Musically this is a Great album probably his best...Lyrically, it could have been better
-
oh yeh, if i can say one more thing. that album was a bit too commercial sounding if you know what i mean.
he tried to switch it up a bit, to appeal to a wider audience i think.
take a look over your shoulder was a much better album i must say. it was more raw and uncut gfunk, whereas "i want it all" was some watered down commercialised record.
for those that say that warren never switched up his style, or warren himself says that,..... he and the rest of them are wrong.
he has!!!!
and i hope this g-files album will be on some more "take a look over your shoulder" style, and sound nothing like the songs we've already heard from the album
