what a fag

I liked Johnson up until about the time he went to the Yankees

he sold out and cut his hair and redneck mustache

he was a jerkoff on his second stint with Arizona too

truth be told on the pitching side of things the Giants are very strong.  They have a good rotation and they signed a couple of good arms for the Pen.  It's too bad the lineup has no punch whatsoever.

its a good signing, it would be a very good signing if your rotation needed help...but that was never your problem.

If he's healthy he'll be a great addition.  If he can grind 180 innings or so the giants will be a suprise.  I really think they are a sleeper team this year.  Hopefully the unit can have a positive influence on Zito and the others.  On paper they have one of the best staffs in the majors, if the lineup can produce anything remains to be seen.

Zito better pitch good!

Giants could be a problem if the 3 of them pitch great.

combined Lincy & Zito's starts; teams should not score more than 3 runs on them.

Cy young winner, Cain, Cy young winner, Cy young winner, whoever.  I know the 2 back end winners are not in the same shape as when they won, but they have some pedigree and can still dominate when they are on.

well, zito cant do any worse than he did last year, could he?  LOL

without any real offensive threat, the giants aint doing shit.

they need to reunite with barroids.  its their only hope besides a trade.

He actually started to look a lot better after he got demoted to mop up work out of the pen.  Hopefully he can rebound a bit.

its a good signing, it would be a very good signing if your rotation needed help...but that was never your problem.

You can never have too much pitching.  The Mets made it to the World Series in 1973 with the second worst offense in all of baseball.  With great pitching and a few breaks on the other side of the ball anything is possible.  With Manny back I think the Dodgers got the division, but nothing is guaranteed.

thats why its a good signing..had they complemented the acquisition of the unit with maybe dunn or abreu, they would be looking a lot better going into the season.

and yeah, the dodgers are the clear favorites on paper, but this is baseball.  anything can and will happen...and that goes for negative and positive.

Always dislike him when he was pitching against us, but I don't mind adding the experience to the rotation. Obviously I would have liked to see money spent on the lineup (and not by signing Renteria), but the team is set on trying to save money and let the younger guys play. Besides SS, the infield will all be 1st-year starters, they have a #1 draft pick at C once Molina is out, and I wouldn't be surprised if Winn and/or Rowand gets moved if the team is struggling.

As for Zito, he is a sour subject with most Giants fans. Every time somebody brings him up I laught, because he was asked what he needed to improve in the offseason, and he said he wanted to improve his hitting. He gets paid major bucks to be the ace of the pitching staff and hasn't performed, and wants to improve hitting?? I can't help but laugh, that is comedy.
