...just lost to the Washington Wizards...IN Houston...WITH a full roster...Against a depleted Washington team (playing without 3 of their starters - Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, & Brendan Haywood)... :-X

I watch them and think man if they could just string together some good games maybe it will get them going and it's like a injury here, a game like tonight and before you know it, it's 1st round exit again. That killer instinct just never kicks in for them.

In all honesty I say Houston looks into trading T-Mac and making some moves while Yao still has a couple of good seasons left in him.
McGrady is falling apart, I say the deal him away and bring in something else to shake up the team a bit.

2. I cannot believe how hard T-Mac has fallen off
3. Yao is a good player but way too soft to be a 1st option , doesn't D , get dunked on and blocked by guards on a regular basis
4. I personally think that Artest is more and more overrated (especially his D )
They have some real good role players though , the best players are just too weak mentality wise and soft to make this squad a top 5 team

yea...mostly due to TMac's health situation, though. he's been playing through injuries these past few seasons.

He had no lift before his foot injury now it's even worse. The last couple of games Yao has shot like shit. He needs to shape up quick.

What makes him a moron? When you are not just saying things to tell the facts, but also aim for a certain catchyness, some kind of frank humour and quoteables, pushing buttons and shit, you can't keep it one hundred. He does a hell of a job, in my opinion. And he even talks about issues other than sports without looking like a clueless idiot, something not many sports commentators are capable of. He dabated with Pat Buchanan, even.

LeBron can drive better than anybody in the league & just do whatever he wants & very few can stop it.
Kobe's shot is what puts him over LeBron to me. he can drive, pull up and hit a 15 footer with ease 8/10 times lol. he can hit just about any shot he takes & is one of the top 5 best at getting to the basket.
plus Kobe is better on D.
Kobe (in his prime) > LeBron (can only get better).
comparing the two careers when there both said and done will show who was the better. ;)

There's only one season when the Mavs had crazy talent and didn't achieve shit, that was 03-04... but in 2006, their clearly best player was Dirk, followed by Terry and an inexperienced Howard, and Griffin was a starter... not exactly overloaded with dominant players I'd say - they still made the Finals and looked as the clear winners late in Game 3. Then dominated the regular season afterwards... but on paper, their roster was not great during their prime.

Dallas would have beaten many playoff teams that year... it's just that Golden State got hot at the end of the season, they would have been way higher seeded if they played like that from the beginning. That and the obvious fact that Don Nelson knew exactly how to ruin Dallas. He knew exactly how to fuck everybody up and how to push buttons. Knew exactly how to make Avery look like a scared rookie coach. Knew exactly how to take Dirk out of the game, and so on. It was just very unfortunate. The crazy bandwaggon fans in South Cali didn't help either.

I'm pretty sure it was mostly a Bay Area thing, Sacramento King fans jumped ship more than anyone...Snoop was reppin for Cali, according to him...Lakers were out of playoff contention, so it was okay...PeACe
