He didn't give a starting date for Hip Hop Weekly, like someone already said, he just said "COB Records open for business January 1st". Dont' forget Hip Hop Weekly vol. 1 crossed over 2007 / 2008, it will be on it's way.

He did his HHW the first time, got a nice little buzz going, then he released nothing, he struck out.  Now he's gonna do the HHW another year to get his buzz back, and try to get his album out again.  It is taking a step back, but he might as well try.  I remember one of the first HHW he did, I think it was over 50 Cents "To The Bank" where he goes "This year, i'm droppin B.O.S.S., I promise".  I actually believed him that time.  Now he's going to give away B.O.S.S. for free download on top of all the other free music he's given out.  Don't get me wrong, that's great for us, but it makes me wonder, how can this dude be so smart with his lyrics and everything and then be such an ignorant businessman.  Seriously, who can't release an album after 10 years?  You'd think he would have got something out at least on a little independant label by now.

Oh well, at least we get another year's worth of free Crooked I music, sounds good to me.  We should start up another thread requesting what songs we want him to use this year.  I think he should rap over Soopafly's "Like It Or Not" this time.

I really can't decide who's more rediculous - Dr. Dre or Crooked I. Each one has his own lame-ass reasons, and the most probable result is the same - both will never drop an album. And I mean, ever.
