you know when the west was coming with the g-funk and obviously nobody did it like the west did but the south had some AMAZING g-funk efforts like for example SUAVE HOUSE IMO had THE BEST Southern G-Funk EVER with mr. mike South Circle Tela 8 Ball & MJG Crime Boss those guys were UNIT.



So basically who did u guys like who were doin g-funk but are from the south?

i'm not into southern g-funk like i am west but theres some great albums.

i've been digging wicked buddah baby by mr 3-2 and phantom of the rappra by bushwick bill. both are excellent and worth checking out.

Alot of south rappers did their own g-funk think, but i wassent feeling that it was as good as the west..

yeah that album is dope.

Some of that southern g-funk is really good. even today you can still find songs that have funky basslines and synthesizers coming from the south.
