The New York Daily News is reporting that the Giants and Manning are negotiating a seven- to eight-year deal in the neighborhood of $110-120M with $40M of that money guaranteed.
Damn! That's at least 13.75 million a year on average. Talk about eating up cap space. :-\

wtf?

i mean its better than letting him go to free agency, but jesus christ thats too much $$$ for any one player

thats coming from a Giants fan

why not just give him a largei-ass signing bonus?  he's making Peyton-Brady money.  thats not right and even i know that.

well Eli's been the man so far (1 SB, 2 div titles. 3 double digit win seasons) but he better not fall off.
