Sam Smith of Bulls.com (and formerly of the Chicago Tribune) talked about the possibility of the Phoenix Suns trading Steve Nash to the Toronto Raptors in his Bulls blog on Monday.
The deal looks like this: The Suns trade Nash, Leandro Barbosa and Robin Lopez for Jose Calderon, Andrea Bargnani, Anthony Parker, Jason Kapono and possibly Jamario Moon as cap filler.
I dunno about this; Bargs is finally starting to play well. Plus Nash is aging and 7 yrs older than Calderon.

as much as I would love to see Nash play in Toronto, Im not sure how I would feel about this deal. If they were sending JO to the Suns instead of Bargnani, Im all for it. But Andrea HAS been playing like the #1 pick for almost the last month now!

Calderon is better than Nash at this point..Nash is slipping and nearly 35 yrs old. Bargnani is playing his ass off right now. Parker is struggling but is still better than Barbosa. Kapono is a clutch shooter and Moon is a great defensive forward

They'd have a team full of new cats, with young euros. It takes time, they would not contend any time soon and possibly miss the playoffs this year. I other words, Shaq would be wasted on that team. You don't waste the big fella.

But they need the new young talent to rebuild, what the fuck can this old ass current crew do in the playoffs against the Lakers/Spurs/Hornets?
Nothing. It'll be a surprise if they even make it to the 2nd round with their current roster to be honest.

^I don't disagree with that. I'm just saying that you don't rebuild with Shaq on your team, especially when he is having a good season and trying to play well, putting in an effort and shit. It's tactless to rebuild now. If I'm Kerr I let the contracts of Nash and Shaq expire, then go for a major FA. Cause to be honest you don't win a title with Andrea and Calderon either.
