What were the best G Funk albums of the past 5 years ? Are Their any G Funk albums at all or is the genre dead ?
-
Damn't I don't care what anybody says G-funk is something I will never get tired of and it should be brought back. Come on Quik you were one of the very best with that shit man. Bring it back.
-
Shade Sheist - "Before The Waitin Before The Hatin" (2005) might be the only G-funk album of the past 5 years... I'm not sure though.
-
haha yeah tis dead
is shade g-funk? nah not really
but return of the regulator is by far the best IMO
does that count?
-
Pretty much anything by XL Middleton. 8)
Y'all sleeping.
-
Cali iz Active i would count as a G-funk song, plus the ones produced by battlecat on that album are G-funk.
Also Spice 1 & MC Eiht- The Pionners in 2004 has some DOPE G-funk
That new Erotic D album has some G-funk
Theres plenty ya just gotta hunt it down....
-
is shade g-funk? nah not really
+1
Yeah it's been established long time ago Shade Sheist is a Busta , nothing new.Well at least it's a good thing he doesn't claim no set ..or does he ?In gfunk there is gangster and funk i don't understand peeps trying to get on a bandwagon that's not suited for them to begin with. But his album wasn't bad yeah good beats especially ,yes you know it, the quiksta's one but the mc is average period.Soup lyrics aha.
Apart this, well foesum made good albums after 2003 still, dj skratch not bad, e-white there are many...
By the way, i can't wait of the return of pure gfunk and in full force! Right now it's the period of soup rap music when they'll get tired of it it'll come back eventually.

True G Funk died with Death Row?
-
yeah shade had his run and on some real shit I prefer his older muzik but its all good I guess as long as hes sellin then he dont need to make muzik for fans like us when he has others who like what hes doin
but its a good thing I got more albums from hundreds of artists to choose from.
but yeah he isnt g-funk
I mean g-funk is
kokane
warren g
c.p.o. boss hogg
mista grimm
e-white
possibly knoc-turnal
and more!!!
jus cuz he got down wit g-funk all stars that dont mean hes g-funk
is shade g-funk? nah not really
