I'm equally a fan of both so I will sit back and call it fair. I think Joe Budden took round 1. His diss was slightly better imo.

Let round 2 begin!

This new diss is also Hot!

I liked both disses by Budden.  I thought Sai's was weak.

But I prefer Saigon as an artists overall than Budden.

Sai should either come hard or fess up that Budden won and he shouldn't have disses dude's child.  Though Budden did put Sai on front about his supposed child.

Or they should get in the rink and let Saigon beat the shit out of Budden which would happen.

Sai said he didn't wanna do the battle rap thing cos that aint how he gets down but he did it with Joe and that now its Joe's turn do do what he wanted to and have a boxing match with him!

Thatd be some dope pay per view shit!

Sais thoughts:

Okay…. 2 can play at this game…… He likes to battle with raps.. I like to battle wit my hands…..He baited me into a battle and I accepted it and destroyed him …Now I baited him into a boxing match… Lets see if he accepts the challenge like I did…Wow its beautiful how the mind works….Oh, and he bought the kids into this….THIS is how U disrespect someone…..Part 2 coming soon featuring Gloria Velez, its called…. ‘I Wanna Make MO LOVE’…..hahaha Battle rapping is more fun than I thought… Oh yeah… Free Prodigy hahahahaha

Joey went in on this shit though, god dammm

I've just listened to all 3 tracks and Budden won easilly. Saigon doesn't come off as a battle rapper, he was clowning, while Joey got in every detail. I still think Saigon is a better rapper overall but when it comes to battle Joey can't be fucked with. His flow/delivery is so monotone though, it's a shame.

It's like a lose/lose already my rep ruined
How I beat dude, we know he'll accept losing
Underachiever was an underachiever
Almost thought that you would come with the Ether
I know he got niggas in his camp like "spaz on him", gassin him, bafflin him
Real talk, some don't wanna see ya
The Scram shit will put both hands around ya neck
Said you betta get ya head fucked from under the cleaver
I'm the one that'll beast ya
You got a gut feeling you hot, I think you can't stomach a fever
Can't think of why a wack nigga want it with me for
I leave my mark on you like it's one of ya features
Ask how I it feel to have Maino's face
I'm way ahead man, this ain't no race
Stop playing, im the bomb with the pen
I'm more like a bomb with no pin
How the fuck is Saigon gonna win?
He a loss of interest
Talking bout my son is senseless
So I make sure the dude can't see, smell or hear
Can't touch, can't taste, now he defenseless
Cuz ain't a bullet in this world you can bench press
Speak Tahiri, ima speak Austin
The one that'll suck ya dick if you flossin
Game old bitch that everybody was tossin
The one that you literally begged for that abortion
So we both gone wild, see we both love hoes guess thats our style
But Sai if you think it's different my nigga you goin senile
I just kiss mine and yours is the mother of ya child
BLAUH! Shots peel at ya entourage
Nigga couldn't get a deal on Entourage
How is it harder to be me?
If I lose in real life? But you can't even win on TV
Me I'm probably iller, probably wit gorillas in ya lobby with the shotti and chinchillas
You a rapper or a bodybuilder?
I'll have him in the E.R. with Doc trying to put him back together like a bodybuilder
Please tell me why dude Just Blaze signed
Can't even get a bassline outta bassline
Look at the new kid sounding stupid
Nigga I made Just more money than you did
The nerve of the loser
Keep trying to hide weak ass bars behind the working producers
In the word of computers, is he M.I.A.
Cuz he been fell off like Yung Berg on the scooter
So him and his bas' flow need to lay low
Couple red lights will ruin his whole stage show
And put him on my payroll
How he's a Yardfather when I'm dictating where the grave go?
Been years, he's taking L's still
Turtle couldn't help him, maybe a shell will
Don't look like a winner to me
It's more meal to a pitchfork, you lookin like a dinner to me
Plus ya diss track sound like a beginner to me
Ya whole shine's like a dimmer to me
Fight who nigga?
You betta know how we get it in Jerz
Velcro his tongue, hope dude stick to his word
Nigga you'll be in an ally covered
And you don't love the kids, you just wanna make us think that you Sally Struthers
I'll pit you with the worse kind of men
Dudes who become everything they condemn
You'd think that jail learned him a lesson
Until he bragged bout everything he learned in jail
Nah, I don't think his struggle is lackin
He did a long bid, came home and had trouble with that then
Afraid of adulthood, has trouble relaxin
No choices, had to try his hustle at rapping
Here's a jewel, maybe you should put ya first disc out on Amazon
Before you go fronting when the camera on
And the poor fans kept the hope
But prison was the only place he was next to blow
So he calls me a fag like he homophobic
Cuz they had him on his knees like "homo, hold it!"
Run around, he screamin "O don't poke it"
It's a small world, how you think Joe don't know it?
Guess there's where the lies get deeper
Cuz he went in a tight end and came out a wide receiver
There's bones in ya closet that you can't hide
Ya fans know you went to jail, me I know why
Sai, you ain't brollic enough
Somebody better play third wheel and try to stop the fuck
Cuz I'll put it in 5th gear, like who he gonna threaten next?
Fill his whole body with metal, now he Weapon X
Had the upper hand from go
Shirt always off, how does it feel D'Angelo to get naked like a down hooker?
My dudes outta town 'll book ya
Ya whole gangsta's round sugar
With no point to his vlog, had the world waiting
Flexing for ten minutes like he had a girl tape him
Just co-signed for you said you had a classic
Now he got no time for you, wrote you off on taxes
Now he lonely, vulnerable lookin soft
Tried to help him, I been in his shoes, I just took 'em off
To put it simply, how could he offend me?
I can teach 'em how to live real major on an indie
So picture dude upsetting me
Stop complaining and take control of your own fucking destiny
He blames radio, blames Atlantic
Craig (?), but I can't blame 'em they panicked
Nobody scared he's like hockey, retired for a minute, came back and nobody cared
So for me to take this serious homes
Get Mook, Loaded Lux, Jin maybe Serius Jones
To help write your shit, make it brand and new
If not look for the nation who abandoned you
Be mad at yourself and ask yourself
You know I'm a rap giant, why Plax yourself?
Dude went ahead, axed himself
He cut off his nose to spite his face, Mike Jacked himself
Bryan, how the fuck you think less of me?
When you easily the less MC
Thought it'd be fun but that's deaded to me
This point im battling my own perception trying to beat what's expected of me
Nino Bless said you was a bull too
But im in widescreen, I aint see that whole view
I know how ya hoe ass felt
Make it so you can't eat, put an extra hole in that belt
Ain't a gain in site
Cocoa Shanell ain't the only nigga that'll put a pain in his life
Dead weight, get ya head straight
Cut the track off, listen to ya thoughts, checkmate.

Only people who either don't listen to lyrics, don't get lyrics or don't appreciate lyricism would consider Saigon as the winner of the battle. Budden killed him with so many true and wise lines, it's ridiculous. Of course Saigon's flow is better, who cares?

that would be I. :wavey:

when you hear diss songs you want them to flow well & get you pumped up.

flow is like the 2nd most important thing in a diss song.

maybe Joey has the most important (the lines); but if Sai is almost there with em & flows 5 times better; Sai is going to sound better.

sure the Budden fans are going to side with em; cuz u can listen to his flow & shit (plus he would win every battle in a fans mind lol); but you know what i mean. ;)

from a lyrics stand point; Budden has him so far. i mean Saigon didnt really sound like he was on his A game in his song; so we'll see.

but; id perfer to listen to Sai's because he just flows better & its more entertaining.

when/if Saigon takes this to another level & spits his hardest; then ill know.

He showed this on underachiever by dissing him on the stupid shit. Everything about his son was weak niggas say the shit about his girl but Ill take Joe Buddens life over Saigons if I had to chose between them. He got a nice crib a bad bitch and steady music comin out. He got two albums coming out this year, how many does Saigon got? I disagee. For me flow and delivery are just as important as lyrics. You can be superlyrical but if your flow is wack how are you gonna entertain me for 4 minutes ? Like was listening to Mood Muzik 2 for the past 3 days in my mp3 player before I go to sleep. Let me just put it this way; if you have trouble falling asleep listen to Budden. I really appreciate that he does a lot of personal or storytelling tracks but his flow is so one dimensional, his beat selection for the most time is awful and it always sounds like he is recording the songs in some basement, the vocals are always completley off beat.

Like even with these 3 diss songs, I find my self listening to Saigon's the most and I think Budden killed him.

i'm equally a big fan of both of these

i'd say Budden has relatively easily taken it thus far

from a lyrics stand point; Budden has him so far. i mean Saigon didnt really sound like he was on his A game in his song; so we'll see.

but; id perfer to listen to Sai's because he just flows better & its more entertaining.

when/if Saigon takes this to another level & spits his hardest; then ill know.

But how is Saigon gonna take it to another level? With what? The thing about goin at Joey is he doesnt hide anything about himself from nobody so dissing him is really hard. He saying Joe flopped with a Gold debut album while he still hasn't come out. This is like Crooked I goin at Snoop. You got to be doin better than a nigga to call them an underachiever.

thats what it is

Only people who either don't listen to lyrics, don't get lyrics or don't appreciate lyricism would consider Saigon as the winner of the battle. Budden killed him with so many true and wise lines, it's ridiculous. Of course Saigon's flow is better, who cares?

that would be I. :wavey:

when you hear diss songs you want them to flow well & get you pumped up.

flow is like the 2nd most important thing in a diss song.

maybe Joey has the most important (the lines); but if Sai is almost there with em & flows 5 times better; Sai is going to sound better.

sure the Budden fans are going to side with em; cuz u can listen to his flow & shit (plus he would win every battle in a fans mind lol); but you know what i mean. ;)

For me, in any song, it's the lyrics..

If you hear a diss song, and the dude is flowing like mad, but none of his rhymes are good, is that going to get you pumped up..  Opposed to a diss song where every line is personally jabbing the opponent in the face..   Without lyrics, the song means nothing.  This ain't rock n roll where your instrumental can carry you..  (Altho with some of the producers out now it sometimes happens)

Ugh.. I wish I could get some pellas of like 50 and Jay.  Thats a good example for exposing flows.  Its really all about how much you can intake.  Jay, Joe, etc type always ride the percussion, where you can keep a more steady pace and you have to include more syllables in your bars.  Compared to 50 type rappers, where you can go with less words, and use your delivery to improve your flow.  (slow-flow I guess)  This is the reason why lots of underground artists dont make it, but they are so-called Real Hip-Hop.  Cuz your brain cant always intake shit that fast and you dont appreciate it, but Music is supposed to be something relaxing and fun.  If you listen to songs where the underground artist blew, its always gonna be cuz hes made a slower tempo song.  So if youre not already programmed to listen to the vocals only, faster flows are always more overwhelming, and you tend to just listen to the delivery of the rapper.  Just what Ive noticed with myself as I progressed with Hip-Hop.   Also the reason why people think the South is killing Hip-Hop, cuz alot of them cats rhyme with less words and weaker flow as a result, but their delivery seems to attract the listeners cuz you dont have to keep up with them and you can chill to the song..

But I know where youre coming from, cuz sometimes you wanna be in (music mode) and not (hip-hop mode).

It takes more skill to pull off, but rappers who can decently do it belong in the upper echelon of spitters. Jay, Em, Ras, Royce can all do it.  Ppl like 50 and Sai can't do it..  He's still one of my Top 15 tho, so no diss.  Every battle rapper has to be able to do it.  That's why all the battle rap originated spitters have the killer flows I am talking about..  But sometimes its too much to comprehend when the average fan just wants to take it easy when they listen to music.

Sai may be a better artist when it comes to making more universal songs (Which is why I like him).  But straight up Hip-Hop, lyrics and flow, Joe got it.

XXcLcusive: Saigon Denies Squashing The Beef With Joe Budden, “That’s Totally Bullshit”

With the net buzzing with reports that Saigon and Joe Budden have squashed their escalating beef, XXLmag.com got in touch with The Yardfather to find out the details. Problem is Sai says that never happened.

When asked to confirm whether or not he got on the phone with Budden, Sai denied everything that Just Blaze wrote on his twitter account last night. “Nah that’s what Just Blaze wants to happen in his heart,” he said. “I don’t know where he got that information from but that’s totally bullshit.“

In fact Sai thinks Blaze said that to cool things down. “I don’t know where that came from,” he explained. “For a while you know Just been trying to squash that shit cause he understands what it can turn in to. He just doesn’t wanna see it go past –you know just being around me and a lot of my people – and he doesn’t wanna see it go anywhere other than wax. And he knows that’s very, very, very likely gonna happen.”

As of press time Just Blaze has not returned any emails.

As XXL reported yesterday, Budden will be performing tonight at S.O.B.’s as a part of the newly formed supergroup Slaughterhouse. While Sai is cool with the rest of the crew, which consists of Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9” and Crooked I, he says he will not be going to the show. “There’s really no need to be there, “ he said. “I would love to see the show as a hip-hop fan – they all talented people - I wanna see what they can come up with, but with that other shit that’s not gonna happen.”

“We wanna see what Joey’s gonna do,” he added, “Cause he claims he’s gonna go there and do something. He’s gonna put his foot in my ass or whatever – so I don’t know where this phone shit came from.”

Sai announced on his last diss track “Pushin Buddens,” which was released earlier this week, that he’s done with adding fuel to the fire, but admitted to XXL that he will keep on putting out records if he has to. “To tell you the truth I don’t want to but you know know that shit is getting fun, ’cause I don’t really battle but it’s fun now – now i’ll come back 10 times stronger than I came,” he said about putting out another track. “So if his shit ain’t 10 times stronger that that ‘Pain in his Life‘ – which I know he can’t make a better record than that – if he can make a better record that than shit, he’s good, then I gotta step my shit up and do it again.”

Sai’s new mixtape, Warning Shots 2, is slated to hit the streets in April with production by Just Blaze, Scram Jones, Bucwild and himself. – Jesse Gissen

^well i guess it isnt over; but it is? ???

because at the end of "Pushin Buddens" he said "you can make as many diss songs as you want towards me, this is it, i am done with you..." and shit like that.

so we just gotta let it play out and see what happens with them.
