I liked both disses by Budden. I thought Sai's was weak.
But I prefer Saigon as an artists overall than Budden.

I've just listened to all 3 tracks and Budden won easilly. Saigon doesn't come off as a battle rapper, he was clowning, while Joey got in every detail. I still think Saigon is a better rapper overall but when it comes to battle Joey can't be fucked with. His flow/delivery is so monotone though, it's a shame.

I disagee. For me flow and delivery are just as important as lyrics. You can be superlyrical but if your flow is wack how are you gonna entertain me for 4 minutes ? Like was listening to Mood Muzik 2 for the past 3 days in my mp3 player before I go to sleep. Let me just put it this way; if you have trouble falling asleep listen to Budden. I really appreciate that he does a lot of personal or storytelling tracks but his flow is so one dimensional, his beat selection for the most time is awful and it always sounds like he is recording the songs in some basement, the vocals are always completley off beat.
Like even with these 3 diss songs, I find my self listening to Saigon's the most and I think Budden killed him.

Ugh.. I wish I could get some pellas of like 50 and Jay. Thats a good example for exposing flows. Its really all about how much you can intake. Jay, Joe, etc type always ride the percussion, where you can keep a more steady pace and you have to include more syllables in your bars. Compared to 50 type rappers, where you can go with less words, and use your delivery to improve your flow. (slow-flow I guess) This is the reason why lots of underground artists dont make it, but they are so-called Real Hip-Hop. Cuz your brain cant always intake shit that fast and you dont appreciate it, but Music is supposed to be something relaxing and fun. If you listen to songs where the underground artist blew, its always gonna be cuz hes made a slower tempo song. So if youre not already programmed to listen to the vocals only, faster flows are always more overwhelming, and you tend to just listen to the delivery of the rapper. Just what Ive noticed with myself as I progressed with Hip-Hop. Also the reason why people think the South is killing Hip-Hop, cuz alot of them cats rhyme with less words and weaker flow as a result, but their delivery seems to attract the listeners cuz you dont have to keep up with them and you can chill to the song..
But I know where youre coming from, cuz sometimes you wanna be in (music mode) and not (hip-hop mode).

Ugh.. I wish I could get some pellas of like 50 and Jay. Thats a good example for exposing flows. Its really all about how much you can intake. Jay, Joe, etc type always ride the percussion, where you can keep a more steady pace and you have to include more syllables in your bars. Compared to 50 type rappers, where you can go with less words, and use your delivery to improve your flow. (slow-flow I guess) This is the reason why lots of underground artists dont make it, but they are so-called Real Hip-Hop. Cuz your brain cant always intake shit that fast and you dont appreciate it, but Music is supposed to be something relaxing and fun. If you listen to songs where the underground artist blew, its always gonna be cuz hes made a slower tempo song. So if youre not already programmed to listen to the vocals only, faster flows are always more overwhelming, and you tend to just listen to the delivery of the rapper. With the net buzzing with reports that Saigon and Joe Budden have squashed their escalating beef, XXLmag.com got in touch with The Yardfather to find out the details. Problem is Sai says that never happened.
When asked to confirm whether or not he got on the phone with Budden, Sai denied everything that Just Blaze wrote on his twitter account last night. “Nah that’s what Just Blaze wants to happen in his heart,” he said. “I don’t know where he got that information from but that’s totally bullshit.“
In fact Sai thinks Blaze said that to cool things down. “I don’t know where that came from,” he explained. “For a while you know Just been trying to squash that shit cause he understands what it can turn in to. He just doesn’t wanna see it go past –you know just being around me and a lot of my people – and he doesn’t wanna see it go anywhere other than wax. And he knows that’s very, very, very likely gonna happen.”

As XXL reported yesterday, Budden will be performing tonight at S.O.B.’s as a part of the newly formed supergroup Slaughterhouse. While Sai is cool with the rest of the crew, which consists of Joell Ortiz, Royce da 5’9” and Crooked I, he says he will not be going to the show. “There’s really no need to be there, “ he said. “I would love to see the show as a hip-hop fan – they all talented people - I wanna see what they can come up with, but with that other shit that’s not gonna happen.”

Sai announced on his last diss track “Pushin Buddens,” which was released earlier this week, that he’s done with adding fuel to the fire, but admitted to XXL that he will keep on putting out records if he has to. “To tell you the truth I don’t want to but you know know that shit is getting fun, ’cause I don’t really battle but it’s fun now – now i’ll come back 10 times stronger than I came,” he said about putting out another track. “So if his shit ain’t 10 times stronger that that ‘Pain in his Life‘ – which I know he can’t make a better record than that – if he can make a better record that than shit, he’s good, then I gotta step my shit up and do it again.”
