Title: has anyone from SoCal been to Tijuana recently?

I am thinkin about goin to Tijuana for a couple of days but I dunno whether its safe. Is the violence still prevalent or have things calmed down?
what other places would you recommend me to go?

I live in SD, but aint been to TJ in a while. But yah, its still supposed to be pretty fucked up down there..

Culiacan (or everywhere in the sinaloa area) is pretty safe,just like guadalajara and ciudad juarez  ;)

I live in San Diego too, but there's no way I'm going down there anytime soon. 6,800 murders last year, fuck that.

Naw, my bad. Tijuana alone is something like 900. Mexico in general had something like 6000.
