I hear you on that. Lots of stuff in movies is the SOS=Same old S___ ::) Now I hear they're talking about doing remakes of Nightmare on Elm Street, Robocop & Predator. Unnecessary. Robert Englund is the only Freddy & they're tryna have someone else as him. Jason X & Freddy vs. Jason shoulda been the last ones for both. If they wanna keep doing sequels, do Hellraiser or Dr. Giggles. Never seen any of them but no more Freddy or Jason.

There's some of us that could think of better movies & write better scripts than those in Hollywood but you gotta go to school for that :( This one isn't about who you know or meet in the business.

Yeah I definitely wouldn't consider it a remake. It's like Halloween, same character but different story.

I disagree...theyre on the same level, but this remake was shot a little better and had more of a horroresque feel. neither were true to the franchise, so it don't really matter. I'm hopin the "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake shits on all these.

It went out and did what it was supposed to, but if you are more into the suspenseful horror films, and not hack and slash with a few jump scares, then Friday the 13th 2009 is not for you.
