-
"Halloween" remake was decent...I expect the same for this one.
-
Meh. Never was a fan of horror flicks. I've watched Friday the 13th and a few others as a sort of pop culture civilization, but in general I couldn't care less.
-
i caint wait to see this . they got Michael Bay doing it its gota be good
-

Wack, Where is the new shit?
Originality is Dead in young hollywood.
I bet they remake "High School Musical" next, with a younger cast.
(I mean it is already a couple of years old, Right about remake time)
-
Looks dope, I used to love the Friday the 13th movies when I was younger, I'm excited for this one.
-
I think Rob Zombie did a decent job with his remake of Halloween
hope this is somewhat similar

-
I watched it straight as and it was pretty cool! Had a couple of jumps up in their when I wasnt expecting shit to happen so It was pretty sweet... Its not a remake it tells a new story but yeah concept far from original 8)
-

I hear you on that. Lots of stuff in movies is the SOS=Same old S___ ::) Now I hear they're talking about doing remakes of Nightmare on Elm Street, Robocop & Predator. Unnecessary. Robert Englund is the only Freddy & they're tryna have someone else as him. Jason X & Freddy vs. Jason shoulda been the last ones for both. If they wanna keep doing sequels, do Hellraiser or Dr. Giggles. Never seen any of them but no more Freddy or Jason.
There's some of us that could think of better movies & write better scripts than those in Hollywood but you gotta go to school for that :( This one isn't about who you know or meet in the business.
-
I had to watch this movie even though I hate remakes of originals. I was impressed with how they used scare-tactics. Other than that...it was ok. Original is better.
Fuck the new hollywood shit.
-
based on what i'm hearing this isn't even a remake...

Yeah I definitely wouldn't consider it a remake. It's like Halloween, same character but different story.
-
u got that right

-
What the fuck is up with Jason...
*spoiler...
KIPNAPPING??? WTF?
-
isn't really a remake..
script was rushed as well..directing was good, but all rushed.
-
yup...not a remake...not even close. in fact, this isn't really a Jason movie at alll. that said, I thought it was pretty good, although it coulda been much better. a little better than Rob Zombie's Halloween, but not by much. 7/10...PeACe

I disagree...theyre on the same level, but this remake was shot a little better and had more of a horroresque feel. neither were true to the franchise, so it don't really matter. I'm hopin the "Nightmare on Elm Street" remake shits on all these.

ummm, Jason always ran...it's Michael who walked slow.
-
Damn JASON DIE already!!!!!!!

THe Friday the 13th films have never been what you would call good movies. I will give the movie a solid 7 out of 10. It went out and did what it was supposed to, but if you are more into the suspenseful horror films, and not hack and slash with a few jump scares, then Friday the 13th 2009 is not for you.
