The Koch companies are being rebranded under their parent company's banner, E1 Entertainment.
Koch Records announced they have changed their name to E1 Music, Koch Entertainment Distribution will now be known as E1 Entertainment Distribution U.S., and Koch Publishing is now E1 Music Publishing. The company's home video arm, formerly Koch Vision, is now E1 Entertainment U.S.
The name changes are effective immediately.
Bob Frank remains president of E1 Music and E1 Music Publishing, Michael Rosenberg remains president of E1 Entertainment Distribution U.S. and Michael Koch remains CEO of all three.
Koch was purchased by E1 in June 2005.
“We are looking at the best year in our history,” E1 General Manager Music Alan Grunblatt stated via press release. “We are just changing our name to E1 and will continue to change the game.”
E1 also states that its executive staff positions will remain in tact. Previous reports listed Jim Jones as the VP Of Urban A&R, with both Jones and Grunblatt offering thoughts on the matter. As it currently stands, the position of Urban A&R Director is helmed by Bob Perry, while Shadow Stokes serves as VP of Urban Promotion.

Koch was a solid name in the industry, they shouldnt have fucked with it.

+1 on that statement. I hate when fools do that junk, gotta have their gay corporate stamp on everything. Changing what don't need 2 be changed. Especially in sports >:( Ima still refer to them as Koch. Just like I refer to a lot of these stadiums/arenas who are mainly known for their names. Examples, anaheim pond[ducks], jack murphy stadium[SD}, delta center[utah], new spectrum[flyers, 6ers].
