give them a break Hack, they just lost the better Center in the leagues history, with outstanding post play & should-be award winning defense.

for a fan of a team who CLEARLY (without even a second thought) has an inferior big man (KG), you shouldnt be one to talk.

why? because Bynum with a torn MCL>>>>>a healthy KG.

dont take it the wrong way, KG is good, but not injured Bynum good.

i am comedy?  ;D

where do you think all that came from? a die heart Laker fan? a "bitter hater"?

na, its just a dude on a forum listening to Lakers fans over praise a injury prone big man.

its a joke....actually, scratch all that about Lakers fans, etc, etc.

its really just to any fan on the board who thought Bynum was the leagues best center, Now_I_Know there is more than one! :D :D :D

LOL, that was corny as fuck, but i had too! :P

btw, your response sounds like the one from a "maaaaad" Laker who just lost there big man for the season. ;)

what can i say? NIK's statements are amusing, i just like adding the fuel to his fire lol.

he over praised him & now that hes taken a fall, you think other fans are just going to feel all bad for you guys?

cmon now, Hack's got the right idea lol.

if C.C. or Burnett goes down this year *KNOCK ON WOOD...TWICE lol*, you dont think Tommy & some other baseball heads will be all over us?

Yankee fans already are like concidering we won, VERY, VERY similar to that of the Laker fans beginning of this season; so when you guys take the fall, other fans jump on you.

its part of sports.

Bynum will be back sooner this time...I'm guessing he might play in the last week of the season. I just saw an interview with him and he's able to walk and everything. No surgery is required. He said he couldn't walk for 14 days after the injury last year. The severity of last yeats injury was much, MUCH worse...Bynum will be back more than in time for us to handle the Celtics/Cavs/Magic in the Finals. 8)

Ever had a MCL injury?  I completely tore mine in grade 12 during the last game of the year, but was able to walk fairly well after that (until i got surgery that is).  The ligament damage impacts your lateral movement, but walking isn't that bad actually.  Hard to sayh how bad it will be.........I really hope he comes back and is healthy, because I will hate to see the excuses for years to come if he doesn't and the Lakers don't win the title.  It would be even worse than the "one rebound" theory vs Phoenix a couple of years ago........

I hope so, but remember last year his timetable to return kept getting delayed and delayed until it became apparent that he would just have to shut it down. At least this injury appears to be minor in comparison and IIRC its not on his surgically repaired knee. It definitely would seem to be a better situation for him but time will tell. You definitely don't want to rush him back and have him reaggrivate it and make it worse.

One thing I know, especially from this forum. Is that Laker fans talk the most during and before the season.  Its been a while since they won a title, and yet they still have the nerve to think that their team is head and shoulders above everyone...every year. LOL funny shit.  Yeah, the Lakers beat us last year. But this is the NBA and that was last year. They forget how bad we were kicking their ass during game 1 and 2.  If they think a team like the Spurs couldnt beat them in a 7 game series theyre fuckin stupid.  Am I saying "we'll beat them for sure". No. I didnt say shit like that even during years when we were far and away better then them, because you only make yourself look like an ass....and sometimes a complete idiot when the playoffs role around.  So to think that the #2 team wouldnt stand a chance in hell against the #1 team is fuckin retarded LOL

once again, 3peat + winning the west 2 other times > 4 champions on 4 separate occasions. their was once a discussion about this on the TNT halftime report and everyone agreed that the 2nd title on a back-to-back was a lot bigger and harder than winning 1 title on its own. that was back when the Spurs were looking to get their first back-to-back, but of course, they failed. when you win a title, the whole league is out to get you. if you can win a title then, you did something historic... triple that notion for a threepeat. anyone who claims the Spurs have been the bigger/better franchise over this past decade is either a huge spurs fan or a huge laker hater...you fall under the latter.

Wrong as usual. While whether or not a 3 peat is more impressive or 4 titles in 10 years is more impressive is a highly subjective matter of opinion, 4 being more than 3 is not. This has nothing to do with hate or any other dick licker shit you have to say. Funny you call me a laker hater when I criticize them but are nowhere to be found when I say good things about the Lakers/Laker players. I have both good and bad things to say about them you idiot. A hater only has bad things to say. You dont realize this however, because you are the polar opposite of a hater (homer) which is just as bad.

Lakers>>>>>Spurs. Get over it.

not according to the last 10 years

once again, 3peat + winning the west 2 other times > 4 champions on 4 separate occasions. their was once a discussion about this on the TNT halftime report and everyone agreed that the 2nd title on a back-to-back was a lot bigger and harder than winning 1 title on its own. that was back when the Spurs were looking to get their first back-to-back, but of course, they failed. when you win a title, the whole league is out to get you. if you can win a title then, you did something historic... triple that notion for a threepeat. anyone who claims the Spurs have been the bigger/better franchise over this past decade is either a huge spurs fan or a huge laker hater...you fall under the latter.

Wrong again. Anyone who thinks that the Lakers of the last 10 yrs are better then the Spurs is either a huge Laker fan, or a Spurs hater. You fall under both.  During your three peat years, yes....the Lakers were definetely better then the Spurs. That was for THREE years though. During our 4 titles, we were better then you each year. That would be.....you guessed it, FOUR years. So we already have you beat there. THEN, you take into account the fact that for the 10 yrs combined our win percentage was far better then yours, and everyones.  Real shit, in all major sports (US) the Spurs have been the most successful franchise of the last 10 yrs. NO ONE is arguing that the Lakers have been.  30 yrs ago, a three peat was HUGE. But in the age of free agency, winning every other year 4 times is even harder. Especially when you consider they were contenders for the title in each year in between. Teams dont stay that good, for that long anymore when players are constanly moving from team to team. The Lakers were great for 3 of the last 10 yrs...and thats about it.

Anybody who has been paying attention for the last decade knows that you can never count the Spurs out though.

lol calm down, you had the best player in all of basketball & a big man who was playing like the best big man of all time, at the time.

it was a stacked team who should win.

i mean you take away one of the componets to that ridiculous duo & i count zero; for the Lakers anyway. ;)

You understand the way professional sports works nowadays right? Not that a three peat isnt great. It IS amazing. But its easier for a team to be great for a three year period, then fall off. Then it is for a team to win consistently over a 10 yr span. Even if they do not win the title EVERY year.  If they were just a very good team for 10 yrs, with no titles, that would be completely different.

I don't think you get it...when you're world champions, every contending team is building to beat you. After 2 straight titles, they're gunning twice as hard. This is why a 3peat is clearly more impressive. Go ask ANY NBA analyst out there what they think on this. LOL.

when it's unanimous, it usually means something.

like a while ago when the Lakers were playing like non-contenders for a streak?

and everyone and their mother could see how sloppy they looked, the commentators, fans, etc.

and you were the one insisting it was all part of Jackson's brilliant plan and they were storing their energy for the Finals

being critical if somebody said the Lakers need to be tougher and more defensive oriented, completely being a homer

those kind of unanimous opinons didn't seem to mean something to you then... we all love your double standards

you could still admit that they weren't playing like they should have

you just refused to even acknowledge any kind of negative aspects of the team, when everyone else noticed

like you said, when it's unanimous it usually means something

when we lose I say "we didn't bring the defensive effort like we could" while you say "we suck. we can't play d for shit."...that's the difference between me and you. :-*

obviously, i've been the accurate one in all this. clearly, when the Laker play to their full potential, their defense is up there with the best, just like i said all along. i was saying that all we need to do is bring our intensity up to shit on all the other teams, while you were saying "we suck" and "we're not good enough to beat Boston"...so I hope you've learned from your mistakes, homie...PeACe

I absolutely said that, because that's how it was going at the time, and it's how I felt

they just so happened to play like complete shit until Boston arrived

proving me wrong in the process that maybe they aren't a big collection of pussies after all

not that I thought Boston is the best thing since Jordan's Bulls, just that I thought a lot less of the Lakers play

the difference between me and you is that I call it how it is, not how I believe it can be

of course you had more faith than I did, but that doesn't excuse letting everything slide

I rightfully bashed them about over 6 weeks ago when they didn't look like an elite team

you could have argued in a different way the way you saw it (and in a smarter way) but you don't

"ah you don't know shit about basketball, this is all a plan, it's all a scheme, excuses, excuses"

but this argument is growing quite tired, and obviously according to you there is no difference between then and now with their play

same team right?   at least I have common sense enough to realize they are playing different high caliber basketball now

it seems when you get obsessed with things your reality gets distorted

Only a moron, such as yourself, actually thought we were playing our strongest ball at that period. People who know the game can see through the slumps and can recognize talent for what it is. Obviously, I was able to see what you weren't. Bashing me for that instead of apologizing only makes you look like even more of a jackass.
