Club banger from Knoc-Turn'Al and Akon, world premiering right here on Raptalk.Net...
Earlier today we brought you the third installment in the "Answers from the Book of Knoc" series. Just a few hours later, we bring you a brand new banger from Knoc-Turn'Al and popular hook singer, Akon. The track is titled "Up & Down" and was also produced by Akon. This one right here is sure to keep the dance floor in the clubs moving!

Some readers may have heard the vocals laid down by Akon so we have Knoc-Turn'Al himself to explain it to the fans.
"Ey what's up, it's ya boy Knoc-Turn'Al! I got a new joint featuring Akon. I know it got leaked because it's a bad jam but one thing for sure is, it's on Raptalk.Net! You have to check this one out because I really took my time on it. Akon showed me love; G'z gotta' hook up with G'z; handle that."
Knoc-Turn'Al wanted to leak the song for free download to all his fans due to all the support they have been showing during "The Answers from the Book Of Knoc Series" and wants the fans to know that more music and more answers are coming. Knoc-Turn'Al also wants to urge fans to continue to post their questions as we will get to all of them.

To me this sounds like another Akon feature we've already heard before... A lot of Akon's beats and hooks sound alike, which is unfortunate cause Knoc's actually on point!

thats why i included the knoc statement..this leaked prior to this release unfortunately..but this song was firstly entitled to belong to Knocturnal..it was an unfortunate leak/incident..but Knoc aint mad at it and still wanted the fans to have it..

I got no idea what's up with the 2Pistols version. I'll talk to Knoc to clarify some more. I'm guessing it was a misunderstanding and both Knoc and 2Pistols got a hold of it. Either way, it's a good track to listen 2 and some new Knoc to bump!

Knoc's label, Elektra dropped the ball on promoting the album. His 1st album basically leaked a month or 2 before it released so most people had the LP before it dropped. He dropped the EP to at the very least put some material out there. On the 2nd LP, again Elektra fucked up the release dates and kept pushing the album back. I did not even know it had dropped when it did. Elektra is notorious for fucking up promo on projects. Treacherous seems to be dragging they feet as well and if Luna was not putting in the work he is doing no telling what Knoc's projects would end up. So it is not all on him.

Well hey take it up with Elektra then.
To be honest really the only artist that capitalized off of being on 2001 that was not on Aftermath was Xzibit. Snoop to a certain extent but he was already established. Devin's label RAL did not dropped anything, Knocturnal's promo was fucked up, the list goes on.
