Blues boss Big Phil Scolari rates the Portugal winger as highly as Cristiano Ronaldo.
Quaresma, 25, played under Scolari when he was Portugal boss.
He brings the Portuguese contingent at Stamford Bridge to SIX following the summer arrivals of Deco and Jose Bosingwa.
The others are Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira and keeper Hilario.
Quaresma is on loan until the end of the season.
He moved to Inter in the summer in a £24million switch from Porto.
But he failed to settle and manager Jose Mourinho publicly criticised him following poor performances.
Quaresma was left out of Inter’s Champions League squad last weekend, signalling his days at the San Siro were numbered.
Mourinho said: “It’s hard for me to even talk about Quaresma’s performances.
“I thought we needed more width in our team but it seems he lacks the strength to endure the criticism which he suffers from the San Siro fans.
"You have to react in a positive way if you are booed because the San Siro is a tough, demanding audience.
“He’s not the only one who was booed and it’s not enough to hark back to the fact that at Porto, Quaresma was practically a prince!
“There he wasn’t afraid to make mistakes, here he’s afraid of the criticism from fans if something doesn’t come off.
“In training he’s the same old Ricky Quaresma that we know but on the pitch he’s not taking risks. I need for him to get faith back in himself.”
Spurs had been linked with a swoop for the Portugal ace but Chelsea moved swiftly to seal the deal.
It is a huge coup for Scolari if he can bring the best out of Quaresma.
On form, Quaresma can rip defences apart and in the past has attracted interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Quaresma proved he sucks.

I think he'll do well!

Being Portuguese, this is somewhat surprising. It's thought (by most Portuguese) that Mourinho absolutely loves Quaresma where-as Scolari never seemed to be a fan...
-
Hmm, he failed to succeed in Primera Division and Serie A. Let's see how he plays in the best league in the world..

C'mon the Premiership is cool to watch, maybe the more entertaining. But let's not joke. A mediocre player like Di Michele is beasting, there. LOL. All the italian players who went there had wonderful season. And i'm talking about people who weren't even top quality/National players. It's def easier to play well there than to do it in Italy.
If Quaresma will play well there, this will be just another proof.

and yeah its easy to play well...because we play better...its hard to play well when for 80mins your team passes the ball between its back four
forreal the premier ship owns....la liga second by some way...then the over-30's(serie a)

Menthally the trasfer from Milan to London was the end of his career. Something happened in his mind and he just couldn't recover from it no more. I think he ain't scored a single Serie A goal yet, since his return. He's continuing to be mediocre. He just lost it. So you don't have a point, sorry.

No italian players in his prime would rather go to England than to an Italian team. Only 34+ years old players like Vialli and Zola, or players who failed here (like Di Canio) moved to England regenerating their own careers, who were almost over here. Di Michele was not a factor at all, here. He was a bench player of a mediocre team destined to go playing in Serie B in 2-3 years. But there it looks like he's Maradona or something. Dossena himself is a joke, he ain't never been a National team type of player, and none of our big teams made an offert to sign him, cause he wasn't worth it. But he's playing pretty well in Liverpool, lol. Even players like Cudicini can have a career there, lol. Who was always been a nobody here. Not even able to be signed by a decent Serie A team.
But damn, do you remember Chelsea player Samuel Dalla Bona? He looked like a promising player, there. But here he disappeared, cause he sucks. I think he's playing in Serie B, lol.
C'mon, it's a fact that to play/coach in Italy it's hella harder and with a lot more pressure than to do it in England. Just ask Mourinho. Or Quaresma. That said, Premership is more spectacular, i enjoy watching it, i'm a fan of Arsenal, i like the way they play, i think the Premiership is globally "better" than Serie A at the moment because it has more appeal and everything. But i was saying Serie A it's harder. And it is.

who gives a fuck about the league when the best players are all foreigners? The league says nothing about the country.
In the end Italian players > English players.
btw both leagues are fucked up, football is fucked up. But the Seria A is worse, ugly, empty stadiums and no quality. The PL has become a playground for billionaires, fucking sell-out league.
-
I'm not biased because I am not English, Italian, German, etc. I get to watch it from a fair perspective and the Premiership is definitely the best league in the world.

1.Zola was 30 when he joined chelsea...and which english players have moved to serie A recently asside from 33 year old Beckham....you know who wanted Beckham in the prem??...Bolton Wanderers....
2.Di Michelle currently has 4 goals in 16 appearances i fear Maradona comparisons are premature
3.Dossena has played left-back for italy for the last 3 consecutive games,so it appears he is a national player...at club-level however hes third choice behind a 17 year old argentinian so no....hes not doing well
4.we wasnt talking about the harder league....we were talking about the better league...the italian style is what we in england call "parking the team bus"
5.the champions league(pretty self explanatory)
im not even gunna talk about the german league dude sounds bitter as hell LMAO
-
Man i was about to reply about Zola, Dossena, etc.. then i read your point number 4, and sorry i started to laugh and i couldn't write no more.
4.we wasnt talking about the harder league....we were talking about the better league...the italian style is what we in england call "parking the team bus"
I have 2 names for you: Fabio Capello & Giovanni Trapattoni.
Shut up, hypocrities.
5.the champions league(pretty self explanatory)
Arsenal-Roma
Chelsea-Juventus
Manchester United-Inter
We will see.

Di michele was a sub/backup player for West Ham until they sold Bellamy and was an Italian international up until 2 years ago.. He will soon lose his place as West Ham have brought in Savio(who will be slowly introduced to the first team) and Dean Ashton will return from his injury, plus Kieron dyer is regaining his fitness and can play as a a second striker 2.
yes a few years ago Seria A and La Liga ahead of the prem, but no longer, last season the premiership teams easily disposed of Inter and AC without breaking a sweat. Even Mourinho said he hopes he can make the Italian league as good as the premiership
Only Barca at the moment can fuck with the premiership top4 in europe, real aint dun shit in CL in years. They havent reached a quater final in 4-5 years.
Dossena has flopped at Liverpool, he got humilated by a Hull player ! he's been so shit that Rafa Benitez has preffered an unknown argentinian teenager to him at Left Back.
just look at Becks, he looks world class playin in the Italian league. He can't even get in the England team in front of an Arsenal squad player !
