Title: David Lee - New York Knicks
Post by: Rick McCrank on February 08, 2009, 04:17:55 PM: I was looking through NBA player stats and I noticed this guy is having a pretty good year for never hearing his name

here's his overall rank in some categories, played in every game so far, started almost all

#2 in Double-Doubles    (38)

#6 in Field Goal Pct.    (56%)

#3 in Rebounds Per Game    (12)

#3 in Total Rebounds    (579)

#3 in Defensive Rebounds    (425)

#8 in Offensive Rebounds (154)

#8 in Off. Rebounds PG    (3.1)

but he is on a Knicks team basically alone with occasionally some help from Nate, Chandler or Big Al.

but for the most part he is alone & just racks up his stats game by game.

Nah Lee is a good player to begin. He is just taking advantage of the system. But he averaged a double double the past two seasons I believe.

He's good. A capable starter but is probably better suited to a backup role (think Steve Blake). I'm just saying every Knick is gonna look more valuable than they actually are as long as they employ D'antoni's bullshit system.

LOL...remember when I used to say that Marion, Nash, Amare, etc were all overrated due to D'Antoni's systsem and people would try to mock me on here? Dubcc is funny.
