Damn you supposed baseball fans are pathetic.  I can't wait for the season, my liver not so much though.  Mets goin finish in third place baby I can't wait.

At least you have tempered expectations, that makes it a little easier, although the late-season collapses still must be tough to bear. I've always hated K-Rod, but he should be a great addition for the bullpen that desperately needed help. I love the start of baseball season because of the optimism it brings and most of the steroids bullshit can go away. I'm not expecting too much from my Giants, but if the back end of the rotation can be solid (Randy Johnson, Zito, and either Sanchez or Lowry) and a couple young bats can add some pop to the lineup (look out for Pablo Sandoval, this dude can rake), it's possible to take the very weak NL West. Hopefully I can head out to Arizona next month to catch a few games. You ever been out to Spring Training Tommy?

unless the Dodgers sign Manny they'll be super gay

I could care less about spring training right now, not sure what to expect for the upcoming year

even with Manny, who knows how it'll turn out, pitching seems weird

let's hope we can get the offense going strong for once in a fucking lifetime
