After a few month hiatus Pr1me was back on Dubcnn last month with an update about the follow up to his acclaimed street album "The Transformation" which we released in untagged format. If you missed that ensure you check out The Transformation: Perception Is Deception - Untagged today.
In that update we reported on a new release from Pr1me that not only showcases himself but also a whole host of talent. "Stylafornia" is here today in its full format having been out for a few days on blogs and across forums in both free complete download and streamable audio formats.
"Stylafornia" marks the first anniversary of the release of the original version of The Transformation: Perception Is Deception and follows up hi Pornostyle Crew's mixtape of the same name that was released some time ago. This time he not only delivers new music but takes time to invite come of California's up and coming stars from Northern and southern California to join him on this soundtrack to the streets.
The project features Bishop Lamont, Glasses Malone, FrattHouse, Lifestyle, Jim Jones, Tash, Styliztik Jones, King Tee, The Jacka, Marsha Ambrosius (Floetry), Traxamillion, Butch Cassidy, Taje, Chevy Jones and more. The release is hosted by the Bay Area's very own DJ Backside.

Haven't had a chance to download this yet.. but I did stream most of it while I was at work earlier and the shit was dope.
But I knew it would be anyways. Seriously... Bishop, Taje, Prime, Indef, Dae One etc... that whole group has yet to disappoint me.

The best track is High. Damizza made a monster beat. Whoever does the hook smashes it as well.
808's by Traxamillion would have been better if he or somebody spit some hot verse over it instead of using it for promotion.

Also showcasing new artist or some you have heard but were not famillar with. I would like to know your likes and dislikes!! cause were planning to Keep Stylafornia going like a Brand Almost like Gangsta Grillz minus the Dj Drama. Dj Backside did her thing also Shouts out to her!!! Jimmie reign Has A video to her song now so Youtube that too. Also Pr1me new record Optimus coming soon Executive Produced By Dae One......... Oh and Hot Box 3 is done magic coming very soon

Oh yea.. I use it pretty often. Especially if I'm at work or something and can't download there. So yes.. please don't get rid of it. One of the best new features added to Dubcnn in years.

Shit still sounded hella smooth when I streamed it. Yea I like DJ Backside.. she's cool on the intro's type shit. Can't wait to hear that Optimus and Hot Box 3.
But on the real man.. where's No One's album The Substance? That Outside Wit It track was banging and dropped back in August. When we going to see that shit drop?

I just went to tha Bishop Lamont show on thursday march 5th. Shit was off tha hook! Pr1me performed a couple tracks Touch featuring Chevy
jones. And he joined Bishop Lamont on tha track First they Love you. I had 2 heineken's so i was feeling pretty nice. Plus i had some Kush before i got there. Everything was pretty chill. Even when somebody was yelling out black wallstreet. It was still all westcoast love. I diddn't even have to blaze up tha j that i had in my pocket cus. The smoke being blazed around me was pretty good. So it kept me nice. I just wanna say everybody definitely did there thing on stage! I would like to end this post by giving a shout out to Pr1me for always keeping it real with me. I know that might sound Cliche but believe me when i say this Pr1me and Bishop Lamont are some of tha realest mc's i ever met. And Pr1me thanks again you really went tha extra mile to look out for me. Much appreciated! oh and before i go i just wanna tell everybody reading this post there was also some nice looking females up in there as well. Yah tha sisterhood of tha traveling pants were definitely in effect lol. But what can i say nice looking broads get no complaints from me. 1
